We have been a Kanze customer for 17 years. Kanze installed our first central air system in 2002, and our house stayed cool through many hot, humid summers. This year we replaced our old unit and once again hired Kanze for the installation. We worked with Joff Barbash, who provided us with choices and recommendations, and helped us obtain rebates to defray our costs. Joff was available for any questions and checked in with us on the day of the installation as well as right after the installation to make sure we were satisfied. Kanze’s installation team (Dave and Marty) were super –they were professional, efficient, pleasant, and really inspired confidence. (How they removed the old outdoor unit without damaging any of my surrounding shrubs or my lawn still amazes me.) I whole-heartedly recommend Kanze!

The team at Marvin E. Kanze did a great job replacing my furnace. They evaluated my existing equipment and recommended a new furnace that was a better fit for my house. The best part was how fast they showed up to quote the job and schedule my replacement. Couldn’t be happier with the overall process.

What a great team at Kanze. The consultation was educational as a homeowner, and I felt I was expertly advised based on my home environment (two mini split installs to supplement our central a/c in a row home where one room is the coldest in winter and in another the heat rises to the third floor but the central a/c doesn’t). The two-day install was smooth with the team of two working efficiently. Both guys were courteous and knowledgeable and explained anything when needed. They also had drop cloths, cleaned up in each area they worked and offered to help move the furniture back. Everything I was told from the initial consultation happened. Their quote was the best from a handful of companies. Kanze is an all-around solid company with personable, courteous staff offering top of the line Mitsubishi products (they are a ‘diamond elite’ dealer). The team also gave me some advice about other HVAC things they noticed while in the house, which I wasn’t aware of. I appreciate their attention to detail and support. I felt they managed everything (from the consult to the install) with the same care as if they were working in their own home or that of a family member. As someone who has renovated just about every part of my house and dealt with many companies, I fully recommend having them come out to assess your hvac needs...and I’m sure you’ll be impressed.

I purchased a heating and air conditioning unit several weeks back. From start to finish, my experience was wonderful. Joff made this stressful purchase so simple and really listened to my specific needs (ie my daughter has bad asthma). I didn’t feel “sold” and truly trusted his input.

During installation, I was just as impressed. Joff again came by the house to ensure all was going smooth. Harry, was beyond experienced and a real gentleman. I trusted him being in my home, even running out to the store while leaving him at the house.

Lastly, follow-up has been great. Joff emailed and called to ensure we were satisfied and happy.

Overall, I couldn’t recommend Marvin Kanze enough.

All of the personnel were very responsive, starting from our request for a service call, the maintenance check on a non-functioning compressor, through explaining of options for a new HVAC system for our upper floor unit. We would recommend the company for routine work, troubleshooting and installation. The installation crew were professional and cleaned up well and the salesperson took the time to answer our questions before we contracted the work and to call us afterwards. We would recommend Marvin E. Kanze, Inc. and would use them again.

Marvin Kanze, Inc. replaced my dying heating system on a cold February day (4 degrees cold) with an Internet controlled system. They were careful to get the heat up quickly on such a cold day. I've been impressed with how quiet and efficient the system is. We keep the house much warmer at a lower cost.

I had them back a year later to install a mini-split unit in a new addition where the split unit made more sense than adding new duct work. It's nice and extremely quiet, too.

Not only did I receive excellent customer service when I called with a heat emergency, but everyone I dealt with was kind, courtious, and so wonderful. I immediately felt at ease and as though I could trust this company to offer me the best quality service and product. I needed a new HVAC and they were able to get it ordered, installed, and working within one week of diagnosing my problem. The installers took time to explain everything to me and to teach me how to use my new system. They cleaned up after themselves and were really great to work with. I look forward to continuing to work with them in the future to keep my system will maintained.

I have all good things to say about the marvin e. kanze HVAC team. From initial diagnosis of our issue through installation of a state of the art HVAC system. Joff, Brandon and Frank were completely professional in all regards. After getting to the heart of our problem the team offered several options to solve the issues at a wide range of price points. Once we decided on the details of our new system the install team arrived and removed the old equipment with minimal disruption to the household. Once the old system was removed the team went the extra mile to get the new system completely installed, running, and thoroughly tested. The lead technician went through the system operation so that we would get the most out of our investment. My wife and I could not be happier and we will continue to use marin e. kanze and suggests them to our friends and family.

Our furnace stopped working on the coldest day of the year. Unfortunately it was a Saturday morning and the business that installed it 6 years ago wouldn’t be available until Monday.
