Family Heating & Air Conditioning

Our 9 year old system was registering 80+ degrees even though the thermostat was set at 72 degrees. Family Heating & AC came on a Saturday after we came back from vacation and identified the problem. So far, the thermostat has been reflecting the setting but the real test will be when the heat ticks up again.

Chris "Brew" and his crew installed a Mitsubishi mini split ductless HVAC system at my home. They worked tirelessly for 2 days and did an exceptional job. I finally got to use the units over the weekend when the temp reached into the 90's. What a great system - a big change for us from 2 window units. I'm fortunate to have found and contracted with Family Heating & Air Conditioning.

I can not say enough positive things about this company! We recently moved to our house about a year ago.. then this last Nov 2019 one morning our heat stopped working.. I called several place most did not have any availability to come out for days.. I have a 10 month old baby, and 2 toddlers and it was supposed to be very very cold in the coming nights... We needed to get to the problem resolved right away. Luckily FamilyHVAC were able to out to and help find the issue.. Brew found we had a leaking furnace so we had to get that replaced. So Josh and another gentleman came out the next day to install the new furnace. However, once they removed the furnace and AC unit.. they found the leak was from the AC Unit. So we needed both replaced. The guys were great and called Brew he gave me a new estimate and was able to get the full AC unit the next day. The guys came back out and replaced, throughly tested the new AC/Furnace system and thermostat installed. They even cleaned up the laundry nicely following the installation.

Then today we woke up with the heat again not working.. called FamilyHVAC they sent someone within an 1-2 hours. Josh identified the issue right away! It was the scheduling system they was throwing the system off. He was pleasant, professional, and on time. All the staff member, including the lovely lady on the phone were amazing. We are so happy we found them.

I’ve used Family HVAC since I bought my house last year and they have been nothing short of fantastic. I’ve used them for emergency service, routine maintenance and installations. We recently purchased a 1932 home with a steam boiler and recessed radiator units. The system was SEVERELY neglected over the years and, unbeknownst to us prior to moving in, did not function at all in the upstairs of the house. I can’t even begin to tell you how happy we are that we found Family HVAC. They were the only ones willing to take on repairing the system and were knowledgeable to actually be able to fix it! We now have a fully functioning system and have heat in the bedrooms. I can’t recommend them enough.

Family Heating & Air Conditioning is a must use for all of your HVAC needs. We moved into a new home that was riddled with Heating and Cooling issues. Brew from Family HVAC was knowledgeable and spent a lot of time coming up with a plan to fit our household needs.

Brew, Tim, Josh, and Alden, were incredibly clean, wearing foot coverings anytime they came in the house and always left the work areas tidy.

They made our family feel very safe with their COVID protection. Social distancing and mask were worn at all times.

I felt very comfortable with the various solutions that Family provided. Some other companies had proposed replacing one of my units and Brew was able to troubleshoot the thermostat to get it working properly (Integrity, Integrity, Integrity!).

The system is working great on these cold days and nights. And the team came out to make adjustments after we moved in, even though the job was completed. It was an issue with our ductwork (which was out of scope) but they fixed it regardless.
