Hernandez Heating and Cooling LLC

I spent 12000 ++ for a brand new system to be installed in my fixer upper. After the installation was completed, it took another month to get them to come back out and get it running. After that it heated up the upstairs as expected while the downs stairs was 20 to 30 degrees colder. It never heats up the downstairs, I had to end up getting a wood stove put in. After numerous emails and practically begging for them to come back out and fix it, the problem was never resolved. I really liked Hernandez whenever we met him and had heard nothing but good reviews about him. I am sorry this happened.

Working with Hernandez Heating and Cooling was a pleasure. We were without heat for 5 weeks during the cold blast of 2022. We were replacing our furnace through our home warranty and that was an entire debacle, however Hernandez helped us locate a missing furnace (delivered to the wrong place) picked it up for us (was supposed to be delivered to them) and installed it the day after they got their hands on it. I cannot speak more highly of this business for prompt installation, professionalism, and simply taking care of us as we were their own family. I would recommend anyone in the Pittsburgh area utilize Hernandez for their heating or cooling needs.

Miguel was awesome. He checked on our system thoroughly and quickly. He was kind and extremely helpful to explain things to us as this is our first time having a radiator system to care for. I highly recommend them!

Miguel was on time, friendly, knowledgeable and got the job done quick! He changed the capacitor, answered the many questions that I had and even took the time to clean the outside unit. I didn't have an outside spigot and hose so he had to use a spray bottle and many buckets of water carried from inside the house to outside. He also gave me suggestions for better air flow in the house. Thanks for the great service and working cool air. No more sweating...yay!

This company was given to me by HSA home warranty. They were so prompt in getting me scheduled. The repair man was on time and very helpful. I would definitely use this company again even if it's not thru my HSA.

Always on time, great professional service at reasonable rates. Not often you get a company that gives you, quality, schedule and value. But Hernandez heating and cooling knocks it outta the park!

I’ve had issues off and on with my HVAC for a couple years. The hottest days it just really struggles. I called this company because the company I’ve used in the past never gave much input on what to do. They’d check the system say it’s fine and move along. Well I seen some reviews from this company on google and Facebook and decided to send them a message. The next morning I got a call we will be out within the hour. Was super impressed since I’m not one of their regulars nor had my system installed by them. I didn’t catch my service guys name as I had just finished night shift and was exhausted, but he throughly went over my system. Checked things that I never had checked by my old company. Found my blower to be on a medium setting and set it to high(why my old company didn’t do that is beyond me?) and gave me some recommendations on how to help the system move air better. After just making one of the changes my system was already working much better than previously. He gave me the confidence that once all the changes are made things will be fine and reassured me that if the system is just chugging along let it work on the hottest days. I used to worry that it would be over working if it just continued to run and couldn’t stop to cycle down. Will certainly be calling this company to get on their list for fall furnace cleaning and check up as well as spring A/C check.

Ian was great. Showed up promptly, got a text beforehand he was on the way.

We just needed an annual check on our furnace before Winter comes. When he got there, he told me what he was doing throughout the process and taught me a few things along the way as well. Would highly recommend and use them again if needed!
