Glen was wonderful to work with. He has done numerous jobs for us from installing ceiling fans & a new oven vent to diagnosing & fixing a leaky pipe. Not only has he done exemplary work he has also taken the time to teach me how to perform some of these jobs on my own (replacing outlets & light switches). He's also been great with our two kids & dog. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a handyman!

I have used Brightwood Solutions for HVAC related installation and maintenance and Glen is one of the best. He also has completed a dishwasher install and helped with other minor maintenance home repairs. Glen is friendly, knowledgable, smart, fair, quick, and just overall does a great job.

Glen showed up on time and was very professional, converting lighting fixtures from ballast powered florescent lights to modern LED lighting in several fixtures in our new house. He also installed a stainless steel chimney liner in an extremely efficient manner in preparation for a wood stove. I highly recommend his services, he is professional, courteous, and does jobs correctly. I like that he also took time to explain what he was doing and why.

Glen is a true professional. He couldn’t have been more helpful and knowledgeable. I needed a new furnace installed at the end of March 2020, right at the height of covid panic. The house was 110 years old, and getting the old furnace out and the new furnace fitted and vented properly was no easy task. Glen was courteous and very responsive. The job Glen did was second to none and the price simply could not have been beat. Trust Glen and Brightwood with any job, big or small.

You can tell by speaking with Glen that he's very knowledgeable about a wide range of topics, and I also appreciated his honesty when he would advise that certain jobs were outside of his domain. Glen was punctual, tidy, and completed the scope of work within the amount of time he estimated. I would 100% hire Glen again, and would absolutely encourage others to do the same.

Our water heater start leaking, so we got several estimates. Glen from Brightwood Solutions was by far the best. His is a smaller business and he has been amazing at communication, timely, considerate of wearing masks, gave us much more information than the others, offered to do more and had the lowest estimate. He was up front about costs and suggested we get other estimates just in case, and gave us a detailed estimate whereas everyone else told us a number. We also asked further questions about other work and he sent articles to help educate us rather than just making suggestions that aren’t necessary for the cost. He found a smaller water heater to give us more room long-term and is going to help us with other projects around the house as well. We could not recommend him enough!
