Kevin came out to do a pre-winter check on the furnace. He was very professional and walked us through our new (to us) system and the nuances of having two units. He went beyond the normal “routine” and we were even his last stop of the day. Bright and cheerful which is an anomaly in todays world.

We purchases our RHEEM furnace through Able in 2008 and have been consistently satisfied with their service and product. We are so grateful that they immediately responded ( gratitude to the woman who answered the phone and set up our appointments!) to our desperate service request when our furnace suddenly stopped working on the coldest day of the year (with more record cold days looming), and during the holidays! Ken was our technician and we were delighted with his calm expertise, knowledge and assurance that he could get our furnace fixed the next day after tracking down a new motor from Vancouver. I was very happy with their service. All of the other companies I called were booked a month out but “Able” was able to fit me in 5 days later. The technician arrived, quickly identified the issue with our Ac unit and was able to replace the broken piece on the spot.
He even offered to help me wire the new thermostat even though he was already finished.

I received proposals from five companies for installation of a 36,000 BTU system. Able (and Kelly) had the best solution, and surprisingly, the lowest price. A no-brainer. The installation team was first rate, very clean, and efficient. My experience in Portland and at the Oregon coast is multiple bids are important as the companies come up with varying solutions and wide price ranges. In both my cases, the best technical solution also was the cheapest.
