My air conditioner decided to start making noises like metal pieces in a popcorn machine loud enough to wake the dead. I called Able and they scheduled me for a few days out - much sooner than other companies.

The morning of the appointment as I was making sure there was clear access to the unit I discovered what was probably making the noise. A poor mouse had been trapped and was being thrown around by the blades. It had been dead for quite awhile. I removed it and did some clean up.

I did not cancel the appointment as I wanted to make sure this was truly the reason. Ken was able to come 3 hours earlier than expected (yay)! I told him what I thought happened and he thoroughly checked everything out just to be sure. He even went to the furnace and checked the temperature output as well as the filter there. He was so personable and we both had a good laugh at the scenario.

I would not hesitate to call Able Heating and Cooling again.

Able Heating and Cooling installed a sweet new 5 head mini-split system in my home. They were fantastic from start to finish. The team was super knowledgeable, friendly, clean and professional. Josh and James were very personable, hard working, and especially helpful in explaining the working details of the new system. Great job guys! So happy I chose Able!

My AC went out during a heat wave. Abel was able to schedule a repair sooner than the others I contacted. I appreciated being notified that Scott was on his way. He was so easy to work with, fast and thorough. Encouraged me to watch him work as he explained what he was doing and finding. I learned so much really useful information. I would certainly call on Scott again and highly recommend them.

Spectacular service. Again. We used Able to install a heat pump in a previous home and, after that positive experience 10 years ago, again called up Able for a bid when the HVAC in our new home went out. After about six bids, they were again the most fairly priced, responsive, helpful. From Ken the service repairman who first came out, to Louis in sales and Brandon/Justin on "Install Team 1," I have been nothing but impressed. Every single person explained the process to me from front to back, patiently and thoroughly. I've felt informed, treated fairly, safe and confident about my purchase. (Bonus points: not one of them asked to talk to my husband instead, which happens all the time!). I can't emphasize enough how much trust I put in this team. Brandon and Justin came out for the install and really went the extra mile. They were SO patient with me, and even problem-solved a low air flow issue that I'm positive is going to save me hundreds. They did so without complaint, at the end of a very long and hot day, and with a smile. They spent all day installing a huge AC and carrying a furnace 18 feet up a ladder into my ceiling, and still had time at the end of the day for customer service. And then they left without a trace. This is my new go-to place. I won't even bother going anyplace else.

Kevin was our technician who serviced our AC system to get it ready for the summer season. He was very friendly and easy to communicate with. He tested our system to ensure the condenser was in working order. He also flushed the condensation pump and showed me how to do it as well. Happy to continue working with this company.

Kudos to the crew from Able Heating and Cooling throughout the process of the purchase and installation of a new heat pump! From the get-go, Louis' knowledge of heat pump technology and the products Able Heating and Cooling carries came through during the bidding process. He listened well, clearly explained the ins and outs of heat pumps, and thoroughly and honestly answered my many questions. The main installation crew, Justin, Josh, Ron, and Chris, did a great job! They were careful, professional, responsive, and accommodating. I'm grateful for their excellent work!

The technician who arrived was very knowledgeable and was able to propose two different scenarios to fix the problem. He obtained the needed part at the Tigard office and came back quickly to finish the work. Extremely professional and offered trustworthy advice. I would use this company again.

Install team were awesome, did excellent quality job. Paid careful attention to detail, good listeners to my concerns. Caught a A/C drainage code violation, and installed new drain line correctly to meet code.
Cables, line set ends, other all meticulously installed for professional operation and appearance.
I mentioned to the installers, that in the attic questionable existing 220Vac cable--nail puncture into the cable, and later in afternoon when the electrician showed up, he checked its integrity—my point, the installers did not forget to tell the electrician about the cable, and electrician followed through with me. To me shows great pride in workmanship.

Price was competitive. We were happy with new technologies designed into Trane’s new multi-stage heat pump systems. I can clearly see how it will help pay for it self in lower utility bills.
Kelly who sold us the system listened to our needs,
acknowledge our concerns. After the system was installed, and been operational made sure everything was satisfactory to our needs.

Our previous two stage heat pump system, when we would walk down the hallway where we had a return vent, it felt like we were walking past a wind tunnel. This new system, the heat pump/air handler runs, most of the time, at lower in speeds now, and can hardly hear any wind noisy.

I’ve been using Able heating and cooling for many years. They always do a great job Scott did this last one on our AC unit. Very knowledgeable very friendly. Did a great job. We’re back up and running.

My furnace stopped working and I called for an appointment for a service technician. They were able to get me in just 3 hours after my call on a Monday. The technician arrived on time and was very pleasant to work with. He was able to quickly get my furnace working again and also provided some helpful tips. I would use Able again!
