Scott Dendy did a great job, giving the ductless heating system a thorough “tune up”, and at the same time imparted needed information about what the homeowner can do to help keep things running smoothly.
I would heartily recommend Able Heating/Cooling to others, as they were professional and responsive from our first meeting about installing the ductless system, thru the installation itself, and keeping in touch afterwards. Ongoing, Kelly and the whole Able family are great to work with on any issues that might need attention. 5 stars for sure!

The technician, Ken, was on time, diagnosed the issue very quickly, and made repairs. He did a great job of both troubleshooting and communicating with us. Problem fixed! He even sent photos after his visit of the parts he had to replace. We will definitely call and use Able Heating & Cooling again.

Update for 2023:
I gave Able a second chance during covid and they installed a new system in my house at a very reasonable price. Also, their service technician who came over to do a tune-up did an excellent job. Keep up the good work Able, nice to see a company continue to improve!
From 2017:
I was going to let this go, since it happened last year, but I'm paying the price for it now. April 2017, I scheduled an AC tune up with Able heating and cooling to check my AC and deal with a power surging issue. As the tech was working on my AC unit, a power surge occurred that took out half of my house. I called the power company and they hooked up a 3 phase monitoring device and power supply to my house. Over a 2 week period, the power was fine. Since then, no power surge issues and 120V on each main line. I don't blame Able for that, and it is still a mystery what caused this. However, they said my AC unit was good after they replaced a couple of parts, and that was it. So they fixed the power problem on the unit, which is why I will give them 3 stars, but they did no basic maintenance whatsoever on the AC unit, which is not a "tune up" like I requested. Perhaps he meant that the power was good now and didn't check the unit? Miscommunication? The compressor is so dirty that my entire system has shut down. I blame myself a little for not noticing that, but I believed that it was ok when they said it was ok. What I have now is definitely not a years worth of buildup, which means it was never cleaned, and I have pictures to prove it. Also, they accidentally left the disconnect out in the rain. When I called them the next day, they asked if I would put it back myself, so I did. I figured they were going to come back and finish the "tune up" part of the job after the power issue was resolved, but they didn't. Therefore I figured that everything must have been good then, and I was wrong. A lesson to anyone else out there hiring out HVAC maintenance: Always check their work after the fact and learn enough about the unit to know that they did a complete job. As for Able, I cannot trust that they will do a complete job after seeing how messed up my AC is, and that I will now have to shell out at least $500 to get it working again.

This company always does great work and office workers and techs are friendly, reliable and responsive. Our air conditioner broke yesterday and we are in a heat wave this week. Today will be 101! They were here this morning, repaired our AC and done by noon!! I would highly reccommend them.
