This is our second time using James for our old janky furnace that loves to quit when its cold. First time, they were punctual and didn't try to make it any more or less than it was. Just got the job done. Not much to be done.

The second time, Bradley Raines was dispatched to our house. He came in like a ghostbuster, backpack of tools, posative focused attitude and at exactly the right time. He diagnosed the problem quickly and was back with parts in no time. He Prioritized the job as we have three kids and he wanted the house warm for them, a major point of gratitude for us. Basically, the furnace needed to be rebuilt completely. He was super fast, accurate, detail oriented and didn't feel like he wasted a second of time. Literally running out to the truck if he needed something to finish the job and back in a flash. I never felt like I was giving my money up to some crooked repair guy nickle and diming us to death. Instead it felt like a professional craftsman with a high skill set and ethical approach preparing our furnace for many years of use. The price is about but you would expect but the professionalism surprised me. Bradley is an asset to the company for sure and will be calling him again. You are the Bruce Lee of heating and air conditioning.

Unfortunately, we were given a false diagnosis creating an urgency to buy a whole new furnace. Three other companies plus NW Natural confirmed there was no leakage of carbon monoxide after James Heating serviceman turned off gas to furnace stating he was obligated to do so if our furnace was deemed by him as unsafe. In fact, the heat exchanger had been replaced in 2016. This occurred right when it snowed in Eugene. After $500 plus was spent on evaluating the true status of our HVAC system by three other companies plus NW Natural, called James again to ask them to come again with supervisor to give them a chance to re-evaluate. Supervisor -no show. Called supervisor, Larry, offered to reimburse for their service calls as requested by me. However, no apology. It has been almost 60 days. Nothing.
Not only did they leave us literally "in the cold", they lied in order to upsell to a new unit by creating an urgent situation. Bad practices.

Really good service, but the Ruud system they installed is annoyingly loud and I'm kicking myself for not going with another place that deals with better products. At least it keeps the house cool...

James Heating installed a ductless system in our home about five years ago, we've been SO satisfied with the comfort and energy savings. Installers we're polite, clean and FAST. I highly recommend James Heating!

After another reputable company had seen a crack in a part of the furnace JHAA came out charged 95$ to tell me what I had already known through the home buyers own company who discovered it. After fixing the part I came home last night to the entire house filled wih natural gas last night. I hope they can rectify the situation.
