We reached out to 3 companies to clean our ducts and James Heating was the only one that returned our call.
Kayla gave me the exact cost, right on the phone, and got me scheduled.
Exactly on time, Jessie, came by. He not only cleaned our ducts, but took apart and cleaned the furnace, adjusted the dampers and was a pleasure to have over.
Absolutely no mess and our heat pump system is working much better now.

Highly recommend James! They came out and helped me. I bought a Nest thermostat and Andrew installed it and also installed some manual dampers for the upstairs. They were amazing and efficient and very reasonable. The office staff was super nice. I can not say enough good things about this company. There are 50 heating companies in Eugene, and James is the BEST.

Excellent and timely service. Very important when the temps are below 50 most days. The gentlemen diagnosed the problem in my furnace, grabbed the part the following day and it's fixed! Pricing was fair and the customer service was outstanding.I will be calling them back for any other needs I have in the future.

My husband called James Heating and Air to set up a cleaning of are system. Over a week ago. They were suppose to be out today to clean heating and air ducts as well as the whole system. Unfortunately they have a secretary in the office that isn't well trained on what questions to ask customers about there systems. The service professional that showed up to are home to do the cleaning stated he doesn't have the rite equipment to do the job. That's definitely not his fault. However it is an internal problem that should be addressed quickly. Now we are told maybe a week or so...they can get someone out to clean. Meanwhile we get to wait. I would suggest to anyone that is going to hire this company for work. Make sure you tell the appointment setter all the information about what kind of system you have. She won't ask the questions that need to be asked. We are currently looking for another professional.

After using James Heating to maintain and repair furnaces on three properties over several years I will never use them again. A woman in their office was rude during a recent encounter. When I suggested to her that we had gotten off on a bad foot and requested that we reset the conversation to retain the relationship she continued to be belligerent. I am in need of a furnace repair this morning but I won't be contacting James Heating to do the work. I'm actually glad that I decided to research other local heating contractors because I learned that there are much higher rated companies. James has disappointed other people as well. I'm going with a new company. James Heating might want to coach and train their customer service people in interpersonal communication. Poor communication skills by their representative caused them to loose my business. I guess they don't consider me, a long time, repeat customer worthy of respect. It pays to read these reviews folks!

I NEVER write reviews but I'm making an exception for James Heating & Air Conditioning because they are a terrible company.... and they're sooo many trustworthy companies in our area to use who won't screw you over and be rude to you while they do it!
I didn't choose James H&AC I got stuck with them in a real estate transaction, much to my regret. This company doesn't arrive as scheduled, charges you for work that wasn't properly completed, won't fix or refund the cost they charged you for their negligence. And it's true, one particular office staff member is consistently rude while she tells you the owner will have to review your problem/questions/request and get back to you...... but don't wait for him because he doesn't. Call another company, you haven't got time for the pain!

I have known Brian and used his services for many years. They are super dependable... They arrive when they promise to. They don't leave until everything is completed and running well. That's what I'm looking for!
I don't think you can find anyone more knowledgeable and qualified as Brian, Brandon and their Team.

I value and appreciate James HVAC. They are friendly, quick and willing to explain their processes. They have done my annual maintenance for the past decade (note: they run a discount for maintenance in May!) and they informed me of the least expensive way to buy and maintain my own filters. Nice crew! Good service!

James Heating and Air Conditioning installed a new gas furnace for us a few years ago. We chose them recently to add an all house cooling unit to the system. To do this they said they would have to put in some smaller electrical breakers in our panel to make room for the new circuit for the cooling unit. They finished the project in one day. After they left we noticed some flickering of lights in the kitchen and the failure to turn on an all house fan which had been working perfectly prior to their work on our electrical panel. I have called them three times asking them to look at and correct the problem. At first they wanted me to contact the electrician they hired to do the project but then agreed to send someone over to look at the problem. No one came. After a week I called again. They said someone would call that day to arrange a time. No one called. I called third time and the man I talked with seemed annoyed and suggested the electrical problems I described could not be related to the work they did. He did agree to get an electrician to come to look at the issue.

I’m still waiting, wishing we had gotten someone else to put in our air conditioner.
