I'm displeased with this company. I bought a mini split from them only 2 years ago to the day may 12th 2021. It seems like the system is now failing. I had a technician out today. I'm floored. The hourly service rate is 145 dollars. That's quite outrageous, in my opinion. The technician was very kind and courteous. He DIDN'T fix our problem though and stated, "I don't know how long it will take to get the part or how long it will take to fix it." I spent 145 dollars for the technician to maybe diagnose the issue and leave. Then, I received a quote for an additional 435.00 with no guarantee that the diagnosed issue was correct because, as stated by the tech, he wasn't honestly sure. My quote reported an error code of U0, but the daikin mini split threw an F3 code. I'm frustrated, to say the least.. and honestly, I'm not too sure what to do here. Almost a 4000.00 dollar mini split completely broken down 2 years to the day what an absolute waste.
Follow up: called and left a message after hours. I was told I'd be called Monday it is now Thursday, no call. I called into the office and spoke to a woman named Sam. I explained my situation and asked to proceed with getting my equipment fixed. I also asked if she could explain the no lemon guarantee to me. Her attitude changed, and she essentially said I'll have the service manager call you. She attempted to pretty much hang up on me at this point. I said hello? She said, "Oh yes. I said you didn't even ask me my name or phone number?. She said we have it and hung up. My interaction was surprising. I'm really shocked, honestly. We have heard nothing but great things about this company, and our initial interaction was wonderful, but the experiences after have not been professional and my mini split is still broken.

My furnace died this morning. It's supposed to get below freezing tonight and I have two young kids in the house. I thought it would be easy to get an HVAC technician to come help me, especially since so many of them advertise emergency service. I was wrong! It's Thursday, and the first SIX companies I called tried to put me on the schedule for Tuesday. James was the only company who said they would absolutely be here today. The technician was prompt and totally solved the problem. The price was reasonable - no emergency upcharge. Without their help, we would be sleeping in a hotel tonight. I can't recommend this company enough.

We had been trying to get our pilot light repaired for over 5 months, previous company said parts were no longer available. Finally called James, they located the part and came out the next day. Fireplace working great. Thanks to the company and Jake for all his work.

I had an issue with our furnace this week. I contacted James Heating & Air Conditioning early in the morning. They said a technician would be out the same day. Tech was onsite by 12:15 pm. I even received a text and phone call advising of his arrival. He we efficient in his work and was able to identify the issue being a defective igniter, replace the defective igniter and get the furnace back up and running in less than 1 hour. His name was Santiago, and he did such a great job that I would be remiss not to share this experience with others.

I had a horrible experience with PriorityOne, and working with James Heating & AC was a night-and-day experience in comparison. I will use these guys for any needs I have with my furnace or AC.

Great pricing but a very sketchy company. a couple days before the install I was told they don't have my units but they can do another brand if I want or I can wait a month more . The sales manager is the one that came out to bid a ductless install. The bid was on a hand written form and lacked information about the install. When I requested model numbers and such he just responded with model numbers. Most email responses were not full sentences. They don't warranty labor unless you pay more. When I emailed him that I was going to go with another company instead of his solutions he never emailed back. Basically the sales manager is as interested in selling their product as much as a gas station clerk cares about selling a candy bar. If the sales manager has zero enthusiasm about his own company imagine how the technicians will be? No thanks. I'd rather pay more and not have issues down the road.

My heating unit was not working correctly. I had someone come out and "fix" the problem for $ 165 and they said it was working However, when I got home from work, the heating unit was still not working. I had them come out the next day that they indicated that I would need to replace the fan on the unit for $700 and they said the whole unit was old and they could not guarantee that the unit would not fail even after replacing the fan.I was referred to another company from a reputable contractor, he came out and fixed it for $200 and my heating unit subsequently works great. I called the main office to speak to the manager,they took a message but no one bothered to call me back.I have given them 3 weeks to contact me.I want to warn the public that this company likes to rip people off.I am a educated consumer and the company that fixed it said that the $165 was a compete rip off. It was never fixed. If you want a reputable ethical company, don't go to this company.

My family and I have used James Heating for as long as I remember. My great Aunt Sherry used to worknfor them in their office. The workers are prompt and professional. They are knowledgeable and fair and they came out to Creswell for no extra charge. I have a feeling they are so responsible that they will figure out what is happening at the home I own and help me fix it. I haven't lived there for a year now. Whenever I had an issue with the head pump, James Heating was responsible and reliable. They are very friendly and helpful.

We called on a Sunday morning and said it was ok to wait until Monday. But later that day we got called from Santiago that he could be there later. By 4 pm he was at our door. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the heat pump. Explained everything. Very professional. Would definitely call them again. Thanks James Heating!!

Called James Heating and even though they (and other HVAC companies I called) were extremely busy they got a tech (Trevor) out within a few hours. Service was just excellent, Trevor was professional and knowledgeable, I will be calling them for more service soon. Highly recommend!

Larry the salesman was friendly but very professional, and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable that he was selling me a good product. Installation crew was professional and got the work done with what looked like a lot of experience. Also had my ducts cleaned, could tell the difference immediately. Also done professionally. I would highly recommend them.
