I have used James Heating for years. When it came time to replace our heat pump system they were very good. The only problem was they were unable at the time to make system just run the fan only. I am asthmatic and need to filter the air when it is smoky from fires. The service tech called the office and requested someone come out with something to make this function work. I didn't hear from them after a couple of weeks so called. I was told they would have someone call me back. Another week and I called again. I was told they would get back to me. I still have not heard from anyone. I don't know what is happening but their service is not what it used to be. I guess they have my $7500 so they don't care. **Update. I called again today. Told the lady that I still did not get a call back. If they were not calling because they aren't able to make the fan only option work that they could come pick up their equipment and refund my money. She put me on hold. Came back and said someone would be out today. Bradley showed up and fixed the problem. Thank you Bradley. I don't like being a grouch but if that is the only way you can get an answer then so be it.
Individual techs were friendly, but it took three trips, $400, and a few weeks to get my ductless heating unit to work again. I understand there can be supply chain issues with the sensor I needed. But they didn't properly diagnose on the first visit, and didn't follow up when they said they would. Communication could have been better.
Best experience ever! James Heating gave me a same day appointment right before a massive heatwave! Brendon was polite, knowledgeable and fast. My AC was fixed in under and hour and at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend.
FIVE STARS! After a winter living with baseboard heat we had Larry out to recommend a more efficient heating system that included air conditioning. We chose the Daikin ductless system and three floor mount units. Tyler & Eric were on time and did a fantastic job installing the heat pump (outdoor) unit and the first two indoor units and Trevor came the next day to install the final indoor unit and test the system. All four were professional, answered all of our questions and showed us how the system worked (which is straightforward and easy) The installation looks clean and tidy and the system works so well. We really couldn't be more pleased with the team at James Heating. Thank you!
James heating and air conditioning installed a new air conditioner unit and serviced our heater. They also installed a Honeywell touch screen. Installation occurred approximately 2 years ago. Unfortunately, Our touch screen failed and I contacted their office today. I was told by the young lady on the phone that it was a 5 year warranty and we were still within the warranty period. They send out a Tech quickly. The Tech told me that there will be a diagnostic fee of a $105 plus his time. He basically said yes, it's not working, He would have to drive and pick up the new unit and return and install it. Installation took A total of 10 minutes at the most. Drive time for him was 20 to 30 minutes. I ask him what would happen if the touch screen fails again. He stated that it's under 5 year warranty. I ask if I would get another $130 fee for him to come on do this and he said yes. Very poor business model! I could buy a unit and install it myself for less money.
Jake came and fixed our AC. Showed up early and was very professional and knew what he was doing needed to replace the capacitor. Got it done price was cheaper than I expected and explained everything great! Will definitely use them again and refer everyone I know to them.

I had a guy come to my home for an estimate for 3 ductless units(living room, master bedroom, small bedroom) The guy quoted me an outrageous $11,500 (12k, 7k, 7k Daikin Co)and the install would not have been difficult. I'm in a small sized single level home. I had 5 different companies come here and the BEST BY FAR was CLIMATIZE!! I bought 3 larger Daikin units (18k, 9k, 9k) AND the price was basically half $6,400. I'm just sayin, make sure to get another estimate or 4 after James Heating & A/C tries to rip you off!!! I'm sure not everyone has had a bad experience with James Co, but I don't enjoy paying huge markups or commissions.
I rarely write reviews for anything, I just hope this reviews saves some people a few dollars or even thousands of dollars.
