One of the worst experiences. I usually do not leave feedback! However last year we had a new furnace and new AC installed by this company. Since then, we have had to have another company fix mistakes that were made by them (two of which were deadly had they not been taken care of). Now, with spring and summer in full swing, we again, have to have repairs to the “new” AC! Absolutely horrible experience and do not recommend this company at all. I could go on about communication, but what’s the point? It’s just costing thousands more out of pocket for work that should have been done right the first time! Good luck if you choose them! Just take a look at the photos and you’ll see this “New” system! Absolute joke!

Tried to leave a message. Work was issued by my home warranty company to this contractor. He never called me to confirm or cancel. There was no communication whatsoever. I understand that location may have been an issue but I cannot understand the lack of communication. Would not recommend or use again. Very unprofessional

They fixed my broken furnace through my home warranty. They were out the next day after my claim was filed and had the part to fix the furnace the day after that. Nicholas was the technician and he did a great job. Was able to diagnose the problem quickly and the repair was done quickly as well. He was very pleasant and came off like he knew his stuff.

Very rude and unorganized. Had HVAC installed and then had to have repaired by home warranty who went through Anderson. Apparently State is known in the area for code violations and being very unprofessional.

This guy is the best of the worse, could not provide proper estimate neither customer service, just wasted my time and regret to sign with them. The management just denying their fault y mean people, cannot even hold the conversation. On the photo: filter installed into the furnace how about that

10* to State. The team is awesome and what a team they are. We worked together almost a year against the warranty company, delivery, out of make model, State stayed with me through the process and we never took our frustrations out on each other - but yes against the warranty company.
While waiting for a new unit, State was so great i even had then do other work in my home and get a quote on upcoming project with gas fireplace.

We needing to replace a broken furnace in our new home. To keep it simple, my home warranty would not cover it because the owner Scott told them it didn't work at all (the heat exchange was cracked) and the unit still powered on and the blower worked. However because he told them that they would not cover it. This was the start of winter so I had no choice but to have the unit financed so they would replace it at my expense instead of going through the home warranty. I paid $4k for a unit that pushes about 1/2 the BTU of my old unit and from what I can tell sells for about $1,500. It isn't even rated for the area its covering. Then it took hit "technicians almost an entire day to install it and get the thermostat working. They eventually had to call what seemed to be a senior tech over to help them. Once it was done we realized a few weeks later that we were smelling stagnant air from the basement and I examined the area and found they had cut out and removed the return duct and never reinstalled it on the new unit. So it was pulling air from the basement and our return was CUT out with the support pieces still hanging and a big hole in the basement duct. I called to get the return put back in and was told Scott would need to take a look. He came out and weeks later had still not called me to setup getting the work done. I called back again and they got ahold of Scott and he quoted me like 1800 or something stupid. I practically hung up. READ THESE REVIEWS! Go with a trusted company that will not screw you over like State did to me and others.

Our furnace was making a strange noise that didn’t sound normal. We called home warranty and they sent out State heating and Air Conditioning where we were told that it was “fine”. Upon removing a certain part (unsure the name, I am not good at this stuff) we found that it was filled with water. The technician replaced the whole part and found that another part needed replaced as well, so it was replaced. The next day, our furnace would not even turn on. I gave them a call and they said they would pass the message along, and when I called the office, it turns out they never passed along the message. The message was that we have NO HEAT WHEN IT IS 30 DEGREES OUTSIDE. So I called again Friday morning and again told them that we have NO HEAT AND WE ARE FREEZING AND THE HOUSE IS 50 DEGREES. They told us no one can come until Monday!!!!! We are freezing in our house and our dog is too!!!! They don’t care! Read the reviews and am not surprised by what people are saying. The tech was friendly and I do believe he came to do his job , but the company itself is the issue.
UPDATE: IT IS NOW MONDAY AND WE ARE STILL WITHOUT HEAT BECAUSE THE TECH “CALLED IN SICK” AND THEY HAVE NO ONE ELSE TO SEND OUT TO FIX IT. THEY ARE SAYING NO ONE CAN COME TO FIX IT UNTIL WEDNESDAY. THAT IS ONE WEEK WITHOUT HEAT AND WHO KNOWS IF THEY EVEN CAN FIX IT WHEN THEY COME WEDNESDAY. WHEN I CALLED TO SEE IF SOMEONE CAN COME SOONER, THE WOMAN ON THE PHONE HUNGUP ON ME. UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE, NO PROFESSIONALISM, TERRIBLE COMPANY OVERALL.
UPDATE: State Heating said that they “could not do the job” after we have had a week with no heat and that we need a different contractor. After a new contractor came out, he told us that State Heating and Air Conditioning did not replace the parts correctly.

Warranty company had them come to check out my a/c leak. I watched everything and discussed when the tech was here, who told me that the issue was due to age and rust which inevitably happens with old metal drip pans. But the report they sent to the warranty company was entirely different and said that there was poor maintenance and improper install. I called and asked to please see the photos showing the “improper install.” If my issue was going to not be covered by the warranty company, that’s fine but it seemed shady as he said nothing about that at my house. They refused to show me ANY evidence of improper install. I had it disputed it and both follow up companies confirmed install was not only just fine, pretty impressive actually.

They might be able to fix things (I wouldn’t know). But I’m not surprised they have so many negative reviews with no ethics.

Found these guys through my warranty company and hired them to replace my furnace and AC. Worst decision ever!

1). When I paid my deposit, there was still snow on the ground
2). Here we are on July 25th, the job remains incomplete
3). In working out a price for both replacements, I requested service or replacement of a duct fan in my attic
4). Upon arriving for the first installation, Service Tech announced that he would not be going into the attic today due to a back injury. Fine.
5). Upon scheduling the second installation, I reminded the office manager about the duct fan. “Yes ok”
6). AC installed. Too cold to pressurize. No duct fan
7). Called to remind them about the duct fan and pressurization needs. Owner responded absolutely confused.
8). Called again to remind them to come pressurize
9). Called again and again and again
10). Finally, someone showed up to pressurize the AC and remove the duct fan in order to rebuild

I’ve called almost every week since then, which was around May. Not once has this entire company spent a second to call me and give me an indication that they are on top of the job.

Do not pay this company until the job is done. My one year old has better follow through and communication skills than these guys.
