    We used CKP to replace our electric hot water tank. CKP was quick to respond and get us on the schedule. The technician was very professional and did a great job, including cleaning up the area before he left. Our new unit is working well! Thanks CKP!

    I had the best experience with CKP from start to finish! I turned on our A/C for the first time this year and nothing was blowing from the vents. I called another company for a service call and they came out to check the issue. They stated the blower was out and quoted me a pretty hefty amount to replace the blower system. I was then referred to CKP by a family member. I contacted Nick, who was AWESOME! He was extremely friendly and went above and beyond. I couldn't of asked for better service. Nick ordered the part and within ONE day I received a phone call that the part was in, which the other company stated the part would take 6-8 weeks to come in.
    Their quote was much cheaper and saved us a couple hundred dollars.
    I would highly recommend them and will definitely be using them in the future.

    I'm still feeling ripped off. It's been almost a year since my experience, and I've waited this whole time wondering if posting a bad review was the right thing to do.
    I intend to give CKP the option of buying back the insanely priced thermostat that was installed, and if they will, I will amend or retract this review.
    It was last April when I realized I'd been hearing the thermostat clicking on and off repeatedly in the early morning hours before dawn. I called the answering service for CKP, who had done some other HVAC work at my home twice before. I clearly explained this was NOT an 'emergency' and I didn't want someone dispatched before normal business hours. My toddler gransdon was staying over the weekend, and although I could stand to wait until Monday for a repair, I couldn't have a cold house with him there.
    A technician called, said he was coming from far away (Ashland, I believe) which I didn't understand since I live a few miles from the N Canton shop but whatever.
    After he arrived, he spent some time troubleshooting. At one point he had to 'go back to the shop' for something. But in the end, I was shown a choice of two thermostats on his iPad (or whatever device) to choose from, they were both over $300. I was shocked, knowing that thermostats are about $40 at Home Depot. But I don't know how to install them, so what could I do? He installed the $339 one, which must be a commercial thermostat. I live in a 3 bedroom 1 bath brick ranch so that seems like overkill.
    Anyway - the bill was $834.16. For replacing my thermostat. $135 for an 'After Hours Diagnostic' charge although it was 9am on a Saturday morning. Then 3 hours labor at $120 each, plus the thermostat.
    Am I wrong to feel taken advantage of?
    The company I called later that year who ended up getting the sale of a new A/C unit and a new furnace seemed to think so. They wanted a copy of my invoice just to show around as what other companies are overcharging.
    I'll give CKP a chance to make this right. That's only fair. I realize I've waited a long time to post this - but I have really been thinking it over.

    We have used CKP for routine service and repair for 5+years. Service and personal have always been top shelf. Recently had a service need on the 4th of July weekend. The after-hours service took our call and the servicemen called us within 15 minutes and was at our house within an hour. The system is over 30 years old and the servicemen warned us that it was on borrowed time. This past week the AC died. First call to install was 5 days The install techs, Dave and Derek were excellent and did very professional work.

    Had the best experience with CKP from start to finish! I bought a house last October and dreaded the fact that I needed to install a new AC and furnace. However, Dave, as well as the other technicians that installed my new units, were very reasonable, knowledgeable, and personable!     Super professional and they sent a great technician. My hot water tank wasn’t working properly and they serviced it the following day! They were NOT pushy on a typical sales pitch.     Excellent customer service from Nick Compton, one of their employees, who came to do yearly maintenance and check why our heater stopped working the day before. He was very thorough and explained everything to me easily. Easy to make appointment with the office, also. Very happy with service provided. Will definitely use again and recommend.

    CKP has performed spring and fall maintenance on my home HVAC system for 3 years and performed one repair. The office staff and technicians have been professional and timely. They have completed thorough inspections during both the routine maintenance visits and repair visit. They also thoroughly explained in layman's terms how it is performing or what issue they are finding.

    My furnace stopped. I was able to get an appointment same day when I called, and the repair was done well and for a reasonable price. Friendly, knowledgeable repair staff. Would highly recommend!
