We had an issue where our furnace blower wouldn't shut off. And had a separate issue where our cat got down a vent. We called McDaniel Heating Cooling and Plumbing and and Ken came out to help. He was very polite and explained things every step of the way. He was also helpful with giving us suggestions on how to get the cat out of the vent.

He easily diagnosed our furnace problem and returned within an hour with the part he needed and our furnace was fixed! And his visit didn't break our budget so that was also nice. Would definitely use this business again!

Timely, friendly, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. One of the first times I've hired help and not felt like I was being ripped off or taken advantage of. They came the day after I called, right before a holiday weekend when I'm sure everyone needed help and found the issue quickly and fixed it without issues. They replaced a water heater for us which everything was fine then it started leaking from the hot water pipe. They came back out to fix and still not fixed. When i call they keep saying will be out tomorrow to fix it and never hear from them. I’ve offered more money to fix the problem so we don’t have to try and do it ourselves. So now i have a new water heater that is getting ruined and leaking.

Excellent service. My furnace was not working properly and they came out within a couple of hours after the call. He found the problem and was able to correct it without much cost and showed us how to fix it next time (cleaning a flame detector) .. Ken fixed the "gas smell" in my home that was related to a plumbing issue rather than what I feared was wrong! Besides that, he changed-over my electric furnace to a higher efficiency gas furnace AND replaced an out-dated heat pump with an air conditioning unit that is just right for my home. He is very patient and explains very thoroughly whatever is the situation and how he is going to solve it. That's what Ken McDaniel is--a problem solver ! Call him. You'll be glad you did !

My furnace went out when my basement flooded this summer. A friend who does HVAC work replaced the circuit board but didn’t have another part I needed, so the company that installed the furnace two years ago came and told me I would definitely need a new furnace. Thankfully, I called Ken today and he came a few hours later and spent an hour troubleshooting before finding that my heat exchange was completely full of water! He siphoned it out and got my furnace working again! He saved me my $1000 deductible towards a new furnace. He was also very professional and nice and answered all of my questions.
