Our AC started blowing lukewarm air today and Favret had a tech at my house servicing my system late into the evening. Willie did a fantastic job. He had a great attitude, was extremely knowledgeable, worked efficiently, and was even kind enough to teach me a few things regarding the inner workings of an HVAC system. Kudos to Favret and especially Willie for taking care of us on such short notice.

This review is being done at the request of my mother who had a heating and cooling system installed in June/July 2021. The techs from Favret were very professional, tidy, and kept her updated on every step of the installation process. Upon completion, the techs made sure that everything was in working order before accepting payment for the job. The issue/complaint comes in regarding the insulation wrap used on the Ac pipes. It appears to be a very cheaply made material that is being held in place with duct tape instead of zip ties or some other clamping material or device. The ac unit also should have been placed closer to the structure to reduce the space between it and the house. Between that and the cheap white pipe wrap, that is secured with duct tape, it gives the entire project a gaudy appearance that resembles a child's first science project made with parts from the scrap yard. The unit functions as intended, but has a Frankenstein appearance to it. This might be a petty complaint to some, but as the attached pictures will attest, it is not a meritless complaint. For a job costing just shy of $8K, one should expect a better looking finished product that isn't secured with duct tape and bubble gum.

I have known the Favret family for many years. The founder was personal friends of my parents and their son John Favret was my high school friend. I believe in loyalty and knew they had a good reputation when I had my HVAC installed for 2 furnaces and air conditioning units for my large home. They have never disappointed and have been very reliable in their service. No matter where I live, I will always depend on Favret!

Very poor customer service! There was one gentleman who was pleasant and clearly took pride in his work, but unfortunately his efforts were washed away by all of the other unprofessional staff at Favret. I left several messages about my experience with their Project manager, and they were not addresses. Their Billing representative called me and basically treated me like an idiot, when really, he was the one who was in the dark about my whole experience. They obviously had no communication and it was obvious that they had no desire to provide good customer service.
They also worked very dirty. My finished basement floor was disgusting after they were finished. I should have gone with Water Works, their staff is very professional and knowledgeable, and the put shoe coverings on in order to protect the floor. Their prices were what made me choose Favret, but it is obvious that quality was sacrificed.

Larry Short was our technician who conducted our A/C check for the upcoming summer months. Larry was polite, efficient and completed the check promptly.

Our family has been using Favret for over 30+ years and NEVER had a problem.

Always There Home Care

We are always treated well, given a fair price, and whenever we have a problem their service representatives are top notch. It's a shame to see bad reviews about this great company, as it seems people expect service technicians driving 10mpg or less service vehicles to make free service calls. These are professionals, and experts! We recommend Favret to all who we know, and we have been delighted with their mark of services and professionalism. We have had need on Christmas day, and somehow their 24-hour service team handled our heating needs within a few hours. Excellent company!

Favret management is very unprofessional. They were paid $150 for routine furnace service. They could not provide service, and would not apply a credit to a future service call. When asked for credit they were defensive and unending. They hung up on me when I asked them to reconsider. I got the feeling that they care very little for customers, and that they are very unwelcoming.

Our contractor used Favrett when when we remodeled. We've never had an issue. They service our unit twice a year. The technician is prompt and courteous. I always ask for Willie because he is kind and patient when my kids ask him many questions. They're excited when he is scheduled to be here!
