4 months after buying my first home, my AC went out. It was MISERABLE. I called Lakes and Zach came out and spent quite a while on the phone with the warranty company, giving them all the info they needed. He made sure that they gave me the full amount allowed by my warranty for a new unit! From there on, everyone I spoke with was fantastic, including Nate in sales, Adam, and the two others who came out to install the unit. I now have my cold air and sanity back. Thanks to everyone at Lakes for their help! I would definitely recommend them to others.

I needed to replace my 25+ year old Janitrol furnace and Lakes was recommended to me. Mickey came out the same day to give me a quote and also quoted me an option of A/C installation. He was super nice and professional and talked me through every question that I had up until the installation, which came the following week. Matt and Blake came out to do the installations. They are there promptly at 7am. Both were very nice, professional and willing to answer questions and explain everything. I felt completely comfortable with them in my home. They finished up around 4pm. Paperwork and transaction were simple and easy.
The following day I received all of my warranty information (which they register you for so it also saves you the hassle) and I've been super happy ever since!
(I also had to get some new duct work done and a new thermostat installation and he programmed it for me which is another plus. And they recommended a great air duct cleaning service to me which was able to squeeze me in few days before the installation). Highly recommend and will use again

We chose Lakes Heating & Air for a complete furnace, AC, duct & vent installation to replace the boiler heat and a single mini-split AC unit in a split-level house my wife and I are renovating.

Lakes came highly recommended by a close friend in the industry, and we couldn't be happier with the quality of the work and the overall experience of dealing with the team (Brad, Mike, and Denver) every step of the way.

Retro-fitting ducting into our split-level was no easy task, and Lakes was confident in their design and that they would be able to get the system installed. We were blown away at the attention to detail of the installers and the effort given to install the system with minimal impact to the existing structure of the house. The job was done on time and there were no surprises or hidden costs on the final invoice.

I would not hesitate to highly recommend Lakes Heating & Air to anyone looking for HVAC sales, service, and installations.

My wife and I bought a house that we love, but there are many projects to complete. This house has two furnaces, and they both needed replaced. One of them did not have AC, either, so we wanted to replace that one first.

I had two other companies come out to offer quotes. The first one was ridiculously high, in addition to being a jerk. The second company was good, but they didn't offer financing.

This house was built in two sections. One section has a crawlspace, and the other part has a basement. Of the three companies that came to take a look, Mickey from Lakes was the only guy who went into the crawlspace in order to give an accurate estimate. In fact, because he did, we found out that the other estimates would have been wildly inaccurate. The other guys did not want to get dirty, but Mickey from Lakes didn't think twice about it.

We had Lakes replace the first furnace. I really like the Armstrong system they installed. It is quiet and has made the house feel so much better. Lakes installed it cleanly, efficiently, and they cleaned up after themselves immaculately. I couldn't even tell they had been there, besides the new furnace, obviously. My wife said one of the workers even walked around with a wet cloth to wipe areas in the house where they might have touched or walked. I had never heard of a company being that concerned with cleanliness.

All in all, my wife and I were impressed. The company is responsive, Mickey was a great salesman, and the install crew were courteous and hard-working. The work they did looks fantastic and super clean cut, like the furnace was designed specifically for our house. We are planning to replace the more complicated furnace next year, and I have no plans to shop around for it. We will be going with Lakes again.

Lake was taking the furnace out the front door. My Mom & myself were sitting at the table. Heard a really loud boom, jumped up went to the front door. They had dropped the furnace and cracked the concrete. It dropped about 2-3”The guy even took pictures, and said his boss would come out and look at it and fix it but not till spring. So my Mom calls talked to BRAD! Brad did nothing, he said his guys didn’t do that and they don’t have pictures.
She didn’t want new concrete laid just wanted it patched!

Just letting you know how they handle damages that their company make. Very poorly!

Love this family owned company. They take great care, offer real advice to keep heating and air running efficiently, fair pricing and great service from booking appointments to the techs that come to service your unit. Best service, honest, fair prices! I called Lakes because of their reputation in the community, and I was not disappointed. My furnace went out during a cold snap of subzero temperatures, and Lakes got a new furnace in my home the very next day for a fair price. They could’ve charged me anything, but they did not take a vantage of my situation. Everyone conducted himself or herself like a complete professional. Everyone wore masks, and everyone was polite.

Lakes Heating installed my heating and A/C unit in 2002 when we built our house. I scheduled a appointment for cleaning of our heating/cooling system. Lakes Service Tech Ryan telephoned prior to his on time arrival. I found him to be very knowledgeable and professional. A true extension of the great quality of customer service oriented business like Lakes Heating.
