Lakes Heating & Air Conditioning is great! From the initial visit, through install and follow-up after completion, we were treated with respect and professionalism. Very considerate while in my home, answered all my questions and we are very pleased with our new AC unit.

My furnace went out one day last week. I called Lakes on the recommendation of a few friends. They came out by 10am that same day. The young man that was there to fix my furnace also ran a few tests due to the age of the unit. I am certain that because he ran those tests I am still alive! I had carbon monoxide not venting properly and ended up needing a new furnace. The sales person came out within an hour and I was able to get a new furnace installed the next day. The workers worked the entire day with no breaks, cleaned up the area and were very polite. I had a very good experience with this company and will refer to them from now on. I now have peace of mind that I am no longer being poisoned by my faulty furnace. Also the 18 months same as cash made it so I could afford this unit at this time.

I cannot say enough good things about Brian Cuthbert and his team at Lakes Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. They took great care of us. They are responsive, knowledgeable, and honest. If you ever need somebody to take a look at your furnace or AC, call Brian - you will not be disappointed.

I attempted to contact the office twice. Once through an online inquiry and then through their answering service. After not hearing back, I called again and scheduled a day and time a technician to give us an estimation of the cost to repair our AC. The person who was sent could only quote for a new AC. A new AC was not mentioned or discussed on the previous phone call. I’m sure their work is good judging by the other reviews but this poor customer service experience has resulted in me looking to other companies.

My experience was terrible. Air conditioner was blowing warm air. Through a friend, he recoo'd this company. Technician came out...did a quick look...said the compressor was out....and needed new unit. Charged me $70 and said a salesman would call me. It took the salesman two days to call me in this 90 degree heat! Got estimates from $2500 to $3200 for replacement.

I found out from a friend that the unit just might need a capacitor as compressors rarely go out. I removed the capacitor myself as I found it is like changing a light bulb. I went to an appliance parts store and got a replacement capacitor for $25 and did the very simple install....and the unit works fine.
The technician should have known this and lied about the compressor being bad to get me to buy a whole new unit. Truly a company with no integrity. I wonder how many people they have ripped off by lying about just replacing a cheap capacitor and talking them into a new unit for thousands instead of a hundred dollar repair. Disgusting.

I have used Lakes Heating & A/C for the past few years now for our GEO Thermal unit. The guys are always very sharp with their knowledge of the system and quick to share solid recommendations for things to consider in the future to maximize the most efficiency. Highly recommend calling Lakes!

Have used them for several years and every experience has been great. They are reasonably priced, friendly, responsive, and accurate. There is never any pressure to buy products or other services. I highly recommend this company.

There was a missed part that had been shipped and then a misunderstanding that led to a big problem - but Brian stepped in and owned the problem and apologized and then bent over backwards to correct the situation and our family is so thankful for his handling of it all and providing a workable solution!
