We had an issue with brand new parts on the hvac system. The team at Jennings as well as Dave Brown our technician took great care in finding and fixing the issue. I will always use their service in the future. Thank you very much for all of your help
Look for other options. The company seems dishonest to me. I called to have my HVAC system looked at and they said the first opening was on a Saturday. They failed to tell me that would be considered an after hours service call and charged me extra. I wasn't in a hurry and would've been fine paying less with a standard service call. The technician was polite and professional but tried to tell me the system was at end of life and a safety hazard. They told me my system had no refrigerant and was likely leaking. They quoted me $1300 to perform a leak test and then another $700 for 3Lbs of refrigerant but the tech couldn't tell me if that would be enough and it would be another $250lb for additional. They also quoted me $270 to replace the capacitor in my condenser which is a $20 part and takes 10 mins to change. This is after paying $139 just for a service call.
I called for a second opinion and a company came out and said the system is in fine shape and they found the leak was due to a loose service cap. They repaired the cap and recharged the system for $680 total. The technician was very knowledgeable and when I asked about the leak test he said he could perform one for $300 but didn't feel it was needed. He said he'll come back next year and record the pressure of the system and it'll determine if it's leaking and if so can do a leak test then. He said all evidence pointed to the loose service cap being the leak.
Jennings Heating and Cooling are my go to for any HVAC work. They’re thorough, have great customer service and efficient. Would recommend them to anyone who wants a trusted company to work on their Furnace or AC.
This was by far the worst experience with a company that I have ever had.
My house originally had in-slab ductwork, which was starting to have some issues so I opted to abandon it and have all new HVAC ducts ran through my attic.
Jennings' quote came in a few grand higher than other companies that I had quote my project, but they instilled a confidence that they would get the job promptly, and well. I let the guys in on Monday and stayed at a friends house while Jennings went to work.
I received a call Wednesday afternoon that the job had been completed and that I could pay at my earliest convenience. When I came home that evening, almost everything in my home was coated in a mixture of drywall dust and insulation crumbs. A sheet metal screw was hanging out of my living room wall, extra holes had been drilled into walls and ceilings, almost every register was bent, the intake register for the old furnace was left in place, some of my personal tools were used without my permission, and an apron that was hanging in my kitchen appeared to have been used as a hand towel. I called the front desk that evening, they put me in touch with the install manager, who initially defended both the quality of the work that had been performed and the state that my home had been left in, until I sent him some pictures. To his credit, he apologized, came out the next day (11/10), and told me that he would have someone out to fix the walls, replace the registers, and clean so that I could move back into my house.
The second install attempt was worse than the first one. When I complained about that one to the install manager, he blew me off. I had to escalate the complaint to their GM who assured me that he would stay in touch until the issue was resolved to my satisfaction.
It took a couple months to resolve my complaint to my "satisfaction".
The repair drywall work hasn't held up, and I am still finding inadequacies and shortcuts months later. (I've discovered a couple screws holding register covers that are caulked into place)
In summary: Jennings is completely inept, call someone else.
Levi and Mike presented to my home and walked me through everything I will be getting installed in my home! This replacement of my HVAC system has been a long time in the making and they have made every step easy. I cannot recommend them enough!
Andrew, the Jennings representative was professional, and courteous. I had his bid before he left. I am scheduled for next week to do some electrical work.
Dave and Dave completed the installation. We are very happy with this service and would recommend Jennings for all of your heating, air conditioning, and electrical needs.
Jennings has sent different techs for various jobs for HVAC and humidifier and I can say they were all professional and the work was done in a timely manner and with integrity. Thank you Jennings for complete satisfaction. So very grateful to have your service include electrical. Brandon M. was most helpful and kind and gave me all the info I needed to make important decisions. Thank you for quality techs.

I'd be cautious when dealing with this company.
