When they came out to do the estimate they were going to fix this and do this. Really made it sound like they would do a good job. Now they have been called back three times which two people have come out about water leaking from flu vent on my new 6,500 unit they installed. I kept getting the answer that they don’t know how they are going to fix it. Parkway heating and air was paid through service masters to remove the unit as well when I purchased the unit that was included in the estimate. They have been paid twice to do the same job and still can’t manage to do anything but make a bigger mess of things. The installation guys busted a hole in my foundation and just left it without saying anything to anyone about it. I understand accidents happen but when you tear up something and don’t acknowledge you did it and would fix it and leave hoping nothing would be said Well that’s just being dishonest!! Really upsets me. They made all kinds of promises and seemed they would do a good job. I have seen everything but that with this company. Really frustrating! I wouldn’t recommend this company at this point. If they don’t have knowledge to fix something they need to contact someone who does!

I've been using them for all my homes for the past 10 years........... and they've always done a professional job !
They're about to install their 5th unit for me...a 3 zoned mini split,
but with the venting in the ceiling rather than having a head hanging on the wall !!....Now that's cool !!
Wouldn't trust my heating and cooling with anybody else !

This group answers the phone in a very courteous manner, accommodates you on their schedule even during high call times, usually calls to come out earlier than originally intended, diagnoses the problem, fixes it and explains what the issue was. Our heat pump stopped working just 2 days before our recent epic snow event (Jan. 22 - 24, 2016). On Jan. 20, Brian Clark of Parkway Heating came to our house to take a look at our system. Two inches of snow had just fallen. Our driveway is long and very steep. Brian parked at the foot of the drive and walked up. The heat strips were burned out and the pump was frozen. He recommended a gas furnace, which my husband and I discussed and decided to get with no pressure from Brian. He explained how it would work in tandem with the heat pump when it gets below 35 degrees. He took out the burnt heat strips, and left saying that another man would call us to set up a time to come out and look at our system in preparation for installing a gas furnace. The only other heat we have is a gas furnace in the basement family room, so we slept there that night. With the weather worsening, I knew we wouldn't be getting set up for a gas furnace any time soon, so I resigned myself to sleeping in the family room for well over a week. I was not looking forward to that.
Jan. 21 - After sleeping on a couch in the basement the night before, with the gas smell eventually causing a headache, the rest of the house was 54 degrees when I got up. At around 4 p.m that day, Brian showed up at our house unexpectedly. He brought new heat strips with him and said that the pump would have thawed since the temp was above freezing that day. He said that he couldn't, in good conscience, go home for the day knowing our situation with only the gas furnace, especially since we were due to get LOTS of snow and the temperatures would be very low. He also knew that we would be snowed in for quite a number of days since we live in the Balsam area. You don't know how much that warmed my heart, as well as our home! I truly appreciate Brian's thoughtfulness. It meant so much that he cared enough to do that.I wanted to thank him publicly. Thanks again, Brian!!!

On time, a veteran in this industry. Gave an honest evaluation of problem, fixed it and then offered longevity of the outside A/C condenser. 2nd time I've used this company and been satisfied with costs and knowledge. I like staying local to our small town and glad we have a good HVAC sales/service company here.

Needed to have my heat pump inspected and a new digital thermostat to replace the old mercury one. Josh showed up just a few hours of my call. Josh inspected the entire Traine dual heat system and replaced the old thermostat explaining everything very thoroughly. Very pleased to have a professional knowledgable service technician sent to my home. I would definitely use again, and refer, Parkway Heating and Air.

This guy knows his stuff! A veteran in the industry found the problem in just a few minutes that others companies have been out several times trying since the unit was purchased 20 months ago. He is honest and friendly and took the time to explain it at level that we could grasp so this mystery issue was now understood. Highly recommend this company!
