    Our entire Parkway experience was top notch from start to finish. We received our options for the right type of hvac unit needed for my shop, and all details were explained. Once we were ready for the install, the crew showed up and were very professional.from start to finish. Once again, they explained the details of the new unit, and how it all works, and the capabilities of this unit. We received a follow up call asking if we had any questions. We are very pleased with Parkway and recommend them to anyone looking for great service and quality hvac to be installed by a professional team.

    When we decided to put heat and air conditioning into our 100o+year old house, we knew that the system would require a person with solid experience and a vast knowledge of current products AND who had the skills to work with a rambling, old house filled with quirks and challenges. Our search for the right person ended about 2 minutes into our discussion with Selwyn Scoggins!

    After he toured the house from dirt basement to the attic, he suggested several approaches we might consider. Once we made the decision, he was thorough in his planning which carried over into the installation of the entire system. The Parkway team , from the office staff to the technicians, was professional, experienced, and polite! They adhered to the schedule and were wonderful to work with. We now have a house that is, comfortable every day of the year. Anyone planning on any type of HVAC work would be wise to call Parkway!! A Parkway project will prove to be an awesome one for you!     Great service! The HVAC system in our office has been messed up for years. We've had other companies come out to look at it but we were always told "nothing can be done". I saw that Parkway Heating and Air had great reviews so we decided to give them a call. I'm SO glad we did! Travis jumped right in and found out exactly what was wrong and fixed the problem. These guys are great and they know what they're doing. I'm very impressed with their knowledge and skills. Highly recommend!!

    A few weeks ago my air handling unit motor went out and the heat strips had an issue with a burning smell. After Googling multiple "highly" rated local heat and air businesses, I chose to call 2 of the best reviewed ones. That basically wasted my whole Saturday waiting on one bogus quote for a new motor, which the guy never even asked what kind of system I had; and the other was a no show at 5:30pm after repeated calls of delaying a 10am show-up time.
    A whole day wasted on waiting. So much for the hundreds of 4.5+ star reviews on those two companies. Parkway Heating and Air, (Waynesville), was about the only other local company that offered 24 hr service. No reviews to go by, but worth a shot!

    I must say, from the first phone call to Parkway until my service was completed, I would recommend them to anyone that wants fast, reliable and service with competitive rates. Josh was the technician that came out on a Saturday night, stayed until he could diagnose the exact problems, which turned out to be 2.5 hrs. He ordered a new motor and motor fan first thing that Monday and had it installed and running by Friday morning. Josh was very knowledgeable and efficient at what he does. Thank you Josh!, for your expedited dedication.
    I am giving Parkway Heating and Air (5 stars out of 5) because they were the only ones that I could trust and rely on to get the job done when it needed to be. Forget the other 4.5+ star companies out there that "claim" to be the best when they can't follow through.
    I hope this review helps others that may have regular service needs, but especially if you need someone to count on after hours or a weekend. Looking back, I'm so glad I didn't end up with either of my first 2 choices. I don't think I could have had any better service or pricing than I had with Parkway!!!

    Our house was built without central air or heat; heating with a wood stove since 1999, and an in-the-wall air conditioner (adapted window unit) in our dining room. Shopped for a company that was offering the Comfort for Heroes 2019 promotion for Mitsubishi heating and air products. Wanting to stay relatively local for warranty and service repair.

    Received quotes from 3 companies, one company's sales person arrived and had forgot his laser measuring device, so guesstimated what size BTU units would work. Received their estimate, and had another company come out for estimate, and they gave me an estimate for Carrier products, even though they carry Mitsubishi, so I requested another quote for Mitsubishi, which I never received a proposal or estimate back from them.

    We were visiting my brother, who used to live and work in the Waynesville area, and we were discussing the work that we wanted to have done. He mentioned Parkway Heating and Air, Inc., and suggested that we contact them to get a quote. On the way back home from visiting them, we contacted Parkway and set up an appointment for Selwyn to come out and take a look and provide a proposal

    Selwyn was prompt and knowledgeable, and recommended units that would apply to the three spaces we wanted to air condition in summer, and heat in winter (not whole house). We were also looking to have one unit with the Kumo Cloud (WiFi control with an app on iPhone) so that we could turn on the heat when away in winter and have the house warm when we got back.

    Parkway's proposal was much more reasonable than the other two quotes, plus some of the equipment that he recommended were larger BTU's than the other proposal, and also included the WiFi module, along with the electrician(s), and building permit. Note: the electrician's fee was included with Parkway's proposal, whereas with the other companies, the fee was separate.

    We accepted Parkway's proposal, and asked about scheduling the install, being that we had some time constraints due to upcoming major family events. They put us on schedule, got the required equipment ordered, and arrived on schedule for the installation.

    Brian (the technician) was very professional and personable, and wanted to make sure that we were satisfied and met our approval before he would progress on with each step of the installation (I had a few quirky requirements and ideas). His expertise was appreciated, and his recommendations for the proper layout and install was very helpful, based on what we desired for placement of the units and such, and the optimal way that the equipment would function properly.

    Regarding the Kumo Cloud, a quick call (yes, quick! Brian told me to expect to wait for a couple of hours on hold, but I got a customer service person within 10 minutes) to Mitsubishi tech support for the technician's pin was all that was required, and it connected almost immediately after we got the pin. I had been a bit concerned about the WiFi connection and the Kumo Cloud iPhone app, being that I had read the reviews about the app, and they weren't all the best. The main issue that I was apprehensive about was the connection to the WiFi, and the majority of the reviews had stated issues of the unit connecting to 2.4 GHz vs 5 GHz WiFi in the reviewers' residences. However, as it stands right now, the app pairs with the system just fine for us., both in home and using cellular data on the phone. Time will tell, we'll have to wait for power brownouts, outages, etc., and see how the system recovers after each power issue.

    We are very pleased with the install and the equipment, and for the great work done by Parkway Heating and Air, Inc, and their electricians. Being that this equipment was just installed, it is hard to give it any negatives, but with the 12 year warranty period, it appears that we should be set for quite a while! We will definitely rely on Parkway Heating and Air, Inc. for any service calls! Thank you, Selwyn, and your crew!

    We have called this company out twice for repairs and was not satisfied with their work either time. Will not be using them again. Heat pump would not kick on. Electrical issue Travis checked it. Made a couple of minor changes and 350 bill only to have it go out again a couple days later. We called and told him it wouldn’t kick on. He only suggested it could be a leak. Which didn’t seem electrical. We will be using another company
