    We had a problem with our A/C unit and called in a warranty repair with our Home Warranty company, American Home Shield. They sent us Holly Springs Heating & Air Conditioning, Gary was our technician. I put in the claim on a Tuesday evening and HS Heating and Air came out on Friday, not the quickest response. He also showed up just after the time window specified by the home warranty company, first impression was not great. Once here, Gary did not think he could diagnose or repair the unit unless it had been running for a day or so, something I had never heard before from an A/C technician. I asked many questions about the unit condition, the status of the Freon, and where the water was coming from. He had answers for the Freon but not much else. While this is the first time I have used a Home warranty in a long while, I expect a qualified technician to come to my house on time and be able to diagnose the problem the same day. Furthermore, I expect a plan of action to solve the issues with our A/C unit. Neither had taken place during the initial visit. He set up a follow-on apt. for the next Monday, this time he barely arrived during the allotted window and I reminded him of the issues we had last Friday. He wiggled some pipes, took some insulation from my closet to push into a vent pipe of the A/C unit and confirmed that a GFCI outlet that powered the sump pump was tripped, something I would have expected him to notice during the first visit. While my A/C unit is working, I feel as if I did most of the diagnosing and Gary did not do much other than look over the unit and check the Freon. I can’t in good conscience recommend this company to anyone with Air Conditioning repair needs.

    I urgently needed help to repair my AC when it stopped operating a few weeks ago. A google search led me to a few local companies and not having any prior dealings with any of these companies, I eventually found Holly Springs Heating & Air who was able to assist the same day. These folks came in and after an initial assessment pinpointed the problem, and fixed the problem right away. I was impressed with the promptness, friendliness and very pleased that their rates were acceptable. I have since recommended this company to friends and the neighbors.

    Their do it yourself page advice in their web site helped me get my heating going for free last year so I called them for service this year when I had a bigger problem. They arrived on time, cleaned up after themselves and charged a reasonable price. Very happy, they aren't greedy and know what their doing. And they help the people who want to try to fix things themselves before scheduling a service call..

    After a frustrating couple of days on working with our home warranty company to get a work order submitted for service to our HVAC unit, Holly Springs Heating and Air showed to do the work.

    Mark, the service tech, thoroughly looked over what could be the causing the lack of heat. After diagnosing the issue, he also found loose electrical connections. One of them began to glow as the unit kicked on. He then went through all the connections, replacing several along the way.

    I would certainly recommend this company and they will be the only call should we encounter issues down the road.

    We had problems with the HVAC unit, and have a warranty. The warranty company use Holly Springs HVAC as the servicer. The unit was fixed quickly and the service technician was knowledgeable, courteous and on time. Very happy with the service, I would definitely recommend.

    Did a repair as part of a home warranty claim. What a disaster. Took them 10 days to get the part — a new compressor — and when the tech came out to install it, it appears he hooked it up BACKWARDS. The AC unit is blowing hot air inside the house, and the compressor unit is blowing cold exhaust.

    I’d steer well clear of these guys if you want something done right the first time.

    Extremely happy with HS heating & air's integrity - All the others jacked up the price to repair the heat exchanger in order to sell me a new 6K unit - Gary fixed it for $900. Recommend to all to get a quote before you go out and replace the entire unit when everything else works just fine.

    Really glad I called these guys. They have helped us a few times and are great at giving you options to keep your system running well. We probably have the longest running system on our street as Holly Springs Heating & Air does our maintenance and ensures all is running well for the season.
