We had a mystery electrical problem that fried our upstairs 2 year old system and it's outside A/C unit. Hobgood really listened to what was important to us:
1. isolate equipment from future surges to reduce risk and feel safe
2. reduce unnecessary rework
3. a good SEER rating at a good price

They accomplish all 3 and protected our downstairs system while we determined the source. AND they did all this, including followups, during the worst weeks of summer heat.

We tried 4 other companies including another Daikin dealer. Hobgood Mechanical was the best customer experience by far.

This guy is amazing! I used them last winter. I had problems with both the upstairs and downstairs heat pumps. The upstairs was stuck running on heat. The downstairs blower wouldn't shut off if the outside was too cold. This man shows up on time without even knowing the problems. He diagnosed both issues and fixed them on the spot. He starts to write my repair bill and I braced myself....then wow....Very affordable and reasonable! Hobgood, you have a permanent customer in Creedmoor!

The technicians was early to perform the work. The technicians explained everything that they were doing to repair the system. They repaired the system quickly. The technicians were friendly and nice. It is nice to have someone nice and friendly to do a job. I called the office to ask about payment methods and the lady that answered was really nice and mannerable. She said yes sir at least 5 times. You can trust the people that work for this company.

Great group of guys. Professional, show up on time and explain everything to you. They installed the system some time back and we love the new system. You will not regret using Hobgood.

I had a list from the home inspector that i needed to get done before selling my home. Robert was my technician and I couldn’t have asked for a better one. He was very thorough and explained to me what REALLY needed to be done. He performed the work in an efficient manner and was in/out in less than an hour. If you live in the Granville County area I would not use any other HVAC contractor besides Hobgood Mechanical.

It was 10 minutes to five,as I work nights I had not realized that the air had stop working. One thing I did realize is that Hobgood might be closing.So I called and sure enough they were. But Mr. Hobgood came right over and fixed our problem. I greatly appreciate how dedicated he is. He was efficient and an outstanding person. I will always be a customer!!

Got a very reasonable quote. The technicians showed up on time . Very professional and ready to work. The owner showed up to double check everything and make sure the Heatpump was working properly. And to see that I was completely satisfied. I would recommend Hobgood Mechanical to anyone with heating or air conditioning problems. This company has been great to work with. Our A/C went out Saturday night, called Sunday morning to see about service. They called back within 5 minutes, and a technician was out in less than an hour. We were given our options and decided to replace the unit. The unit was installed on Tuesday. Everyone we dealt with was very personable, and professional. Did a great job and would highly recommend! Thanks guys and gals!!
