Their technician came out to my business to look a my air conditioning unit. Spent about 20 minutes, said we had a bad part a tx ? The good news was they had the part the bad news was it was going to be a $1,000. What? OK, I did not want it repaired, the technician told me we owed $133.75... again what? Never left me a receipt for what the charge was for. I knew I would have to pay for a service call, but $133.75 for 20 minutes? I called another HVAC company, they came out. Said my vents were closed, opened the vents, insulated a pipe that was exposed, cleaned the unit, the charge was $80.... It is running like a new machine. I do not recommend this place. Call Crowell HVAC.

Update: after promising Saturday to call me Monday, I called them Monday afternoon with another promise to call me back in 10 minutes, I called again yesterday morning, was finally put through to someone named Christine. She told me the techvwas at my place for 45 minutes, he sat in the truck in my parking lot for 30 minutes after he exited my store, said when my air conditioner got hot the quick fix thst Crowell HVAC did would not hold up, I needed the tx valve. Informed her it has been working fine for 5 days, asked for a copy of my receipt, said she'd email it (nothing showed in my email) asked for a refund. She said that was the diagnostic fee... I have nothing in writing.
I WISH I COULD GIVE THEM A -5 STAR REVIEW.

We used byron to install his outdoor woodstove that he sells. Him and his crew are extremely professional and very cost efficient the wood stove works expectantly well and far out seeds our expectations. We searched several wood stoves around the asheville area and his is the most efficient and longest lasting of any we found. Definitely the best bang for the buck.

Heat pump quit working through the night. Called Control Specialties early morning and they were working on it by 10am. Thanks so much for working us in and doing a great job!
