Control Specialties of Asheville

After three years of working with Control Specialties for various issues, including a heat pump replacement, we have had ups and downs, but they corrected the problems, made themselves better, ensured my satisfaction, and made me feel like I was more than just another job. I'll call them again if I have HVAC issues.

Brandan, the tech, was on time and polite. He quickly assessed the situation and although Control Specialties could not assist, He suggested an excellent company who is doing the propane heater install this week. Great job. Appreciate you guys

What can I say, Control Specialties of Asheville knocked it outta the park for us. Our system was on it's last leg. From the first call to the punch list, they came through 100%! Came home and my heat was not working. Called Control Specialists and they walked me through a few home fixes to rule out problems. after a short time we realized it was not something I could take care of.
They came and took care of the problem. The staff are an A+ and the service was timely and affordable.

We came home last night to a weird sound coming from our heat pump and found that the unit had frozen up…literally…it was full of ice! This morning I called several other hvac companies who apparently only provide service or work in people who have already used them in the past. We’ve never had any hvac issues so thankfully, Control Specialties has service for new customers. The lady I spoke with had Brandon call me and he was able to get to us even earlier than expected. After doing a thorough assessment and not finding anything amiss, Brandon charged us only for the visit/assessment fee since there was nothing he needed to fix. He was thoroughly professional and made it clear that if we had any further issues, to call him right away. We will definitely call again should we ever need service!

Brandon from Control Specialties made a special trip to our new home after office hours and on the way to a personal event to troubleshoot some problems we were having with our heating and air conditioning system. He was extremely professional and helpful with locating and solving the problem as well as explaining how to prevent it in the future. 5/5 killed it!

Today was my first interaction with Control Specialties. They were professional, efficient, and helpful in explaining some unfamiliar aspects of my system (I am new to my house). They offered a service contract but did not push it; their services were fairly priced. Overall I was very happy with the outcome and will definitely use them again.

I work for a company based out of the Triangle, but we have many customers in Asheville and the surrounding areas. There have been times where we have urgent service calls from our customers in the mountains and what they need cannot wait the 4 hours it will take for our technician to get there, so we have reached out to Control Specialties. Each time they have been so accommodating, knowledgeable, and helpful.

My own experience with Byron and everyone in their office has been so pleasant. They are kind and happy to help with everything we need. Our customers that they have serviced have been super happy with the service they provide too, which is the most important. As a company, we don't trust just anyone with our customers, but we always know they will be taken care of right with Control Specialties of Asheville. We have partnered with them multiple times in the past and I know we will continue to reach out in the future should the need arise. You can't go wrong with Control Specialties!

Our whole house AC would run but would not blow cool air. We contacted Control Specialties and Brandon came out to our house and quickly isolated the issue with our AC.

He was very professional and obviously knew what he was doing. Problem solved and our AC works properly now.

Brandon got my heat going just in time for cold weather, and made sure to explain everything about the work he was doing, as well as solve a mystery with my thermostat that I had been trying to figure out for weeks. He was very professional and courteous, I would recommend this company's services highly.
