I was away visiting my daughter in Raleigh North Carolna about 15 years ago when our son called ua and told us there was a problem with our heaating system.
I told him to go through the companies on staten Island, and have someone come down and check it out. By luck he called Breezin, and spoke with Shawn. Shawn examined the system. I spoke with him on the phone. He told me what was wrong with my approximately 20 year old system , and why it needed replacement. I gave him permission to go ahead and make the replacement to the heating, and air conditioning system.
He did a wonderful job, and I know that the fact that I was away from the job, and could not check it out personally did not matter at all. He was trustworthy, his price was competitive, his workers masterful, and just a genuine pleasure to do business with him.
I will continue to do business with Breezin because they have my confidence in being an extremely reputable, respectable, and responsible firm. I like the way he does business with his customers, and the way he treats his employess.
I enjoy the feeling I have that I can travel away from the home at any time, and if a problem arises with my heating or cooling system, I do not have to be there to be assured of an honest and reasonable repair or replacement.
I also have been using his contract service for maintenance & repairs for the longest time now with absolutely NO complaints EVER.

We had a 500 pound 30 year old rooftop package unit that needed replacement. It was in a difficult location 3 stories high and required use of a crane. The work went without a snag and the workers were very polite and efficient. Highly recommend.

They misdiagnosed my AC and kept pushing to get a new unit. Made me buy a $500 part and still couldn’t get it running. I called another company to get a second opinion and all it was was a loose wire by the thermostat. When I called their office to ask for the old part back Teresa from their office got offended and really nasty. I’m still waiting for someone to call me back and bring back the old part which I know now wasn’t the issue. STAY AWAY...... POOR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, POOR POOR SERVICE.

I have lived on Staten Island in the same home for 28 years. In that time I have dealt with every type of contractor relating to every area of my home. Some of these contractors were excellent and there were others like this company that you can't forget. I called this company back in 1998 for a heating issue. My furnace simply wasn't working. What started out with one technician, led to a second and then a third as they couldn't figure out what the problem was. There approach was to change out and replace parts, whether they were good or bad, in hopes of solving the problem. They even disconnected the gas pipe believing there might be an obstruction. I was at work and was unaware that this scenario was going on at my house until my wife called me. I requested to talk with the lead technician who was dumbfounded as to what the problem was. He advised me that he had replaced every part of the furnace, except the blower motor, and the unit refused to work. I advised him to contact Bryant, the company of the unit he was working on, for their assistance. Upon calling Bryant, and explaining all of the parts that they changed out, their technician asked them to bypass the homes thermostat and see if the unit works. Upon doing so my furnace worked. These guys were at my home for six hours over what turned out to be a thermostat that went bad. They further charged me for parts, circuit board, ignitor, limit switch and yes a thermostat and labor for these guys while they were learning HVAC at my house via telephone with Bryant at my expense. I never forgot this incident nor probably Breezin as they learned that a heating unit can also fail if the thermostat goes bad. I am surprised that these people are still in business. Their approach back then of let's start changing parts and see what happens was costly to me. This is one incident that this owner will probably say never happened but probably hasn't forgotten either. Everything I have stated here is true and not slander. I am in no way any competitor trying to lower this companies review rating. I am simply relating a story, a factual one that happened to me back in 1998 with this company Breezin, which can be interpreted by the reader as either humorous or horrendous.

MY RESPONSE TO THE OWNERS RESPONSE. If I was one of your competitors, I would have mentioned my companies name. Don't you think? You Shawn, the owner and lead stooge, was at my home and insisted on being paid. I had to pay you to get you guys out of my home. You definitely remember being at my house and to admit to it would make you look incompetent which you guys were. I'm surprised you guys are still in business and in reading some reviews on yelp, it appears you did the same routine in someone else's home by changing everything out in hopes of fixing his heating unit. When that failed you sold him on a new unit you installed which never worked properly. Regarding your remarks on slander on every bad review. The truth is not slander. If I were to say that the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor December 7th 1941 in a sneak attack is not slander but the truth. You were at my home for 6 hours and didn't know what you were doing until you called Bryant, the company for help despite all your licenses. You are a snarky individual who charges every negative review with slander. You are the fraud. Your a classless act and your responses to your negative reviews show it. Anyone reading this should look at Breezins reviews on yelp. Before using any HVAC company, including Breezin, check them out with the Department of Consumer Affairs dialing 311 for any complaints, especially if they are installing a new unit. You have recourse if they do a bad job for up to 15 thousand dollars. The DCA upon proof of shoddy work will rectify the situation and intervene upon proof submitted by the homeowner. Read Breezin's negative reviews on yelp. One incident on yelp seems very similar to mine and that didn't occur back in 1998 but in 2011. Still using the trial and error approach I see!

My heating system is on the older side and wasn't working but they came and accessed the problemed and showed me how to fix the issue if it asrises again. Will recommend to my friends and family if they ever need hvac repairs.

07/25/2016 - We called this company based on the reviews. Over the phone we were told that the diagnostic fee was $85. Service guy Dan came, checked the unit and replaced a capacitor ( it didn't even take 5 minutes) WITHOUT telling us first how much it costs. He then charged us $225 for the part and said he won't even charge for labor. After he left, we looked online and a capacitor is only about $20. So basically they charged us $200 for labor. When we called the office to clarify, the female employee, Fran, was VERY RUDE and argumentative and would not even listen to our complaints. All we wanted was HONESTY and NOT GIVE US THE RUN AROUND. It should have been stated PRIOR TO REMOVAL and REPLACEMENT of the defective part . It would have given us the option to proceed or not.

Anthony responded to my parent's issue in a timely manner. He was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain the solution. Fast turnaround from diagnosing the problem and resolving it. My parents are very happy and would definitely use them in the future!
