Strongly recommend! We used County Heat & AC when we replaced our ancient through-wall AC units with a ductless system (3 minisplits + 1 air handling unit) in summer 2020. Their bid was significantly lower than other quotes we received, and Joe was super helpful in walking us through ductless systems and potential configurations. Mike and his crew were professional, efficient, clean, and very responsive, and the system is keeping the house much cooler at lower utility costs. Big plus is that County is a family-owned, local business and we can trust their integrity and count on prompt responses - in fact, when our new AC system was fried (along with our freezer, TVs, washer, etc.) due to a ConEd power surge, Mike came out right away on a Sat to diagnose and fix the problem at no charge.

We had our furnace and compressor replaced by Mike today. They did an awesome job!
We dealt directly with Mike who was very thorough and professional. He kept us informed throughout the installation process. I would recommend them to anyone looking for any service or installation needs. This past summer we had no AC we called and Anthony came within 4 hours and was able to fix the problem within an hour. I am an extremely satisfied customer!

Great experience with County Heat & AC. From the first phone call through installation, they were very professional and worked with me to find the best solution to replace my 15 year old system that was not running properly.

Anthony showed up about an hour after I made the initial service call and patiently explained to me what my options were in terms of repair vs. replace. I elected to replace the furnace and AC system.

Mike and Joe arrived at 10 am two days later exactly as promised to do the installation and were extremely professional and friendly. They were very respectful of the house and easy to work with.

Their representative texted me to say he was coming at 10 . Then after 10 I call their salesman Eric and he tells me he can be there11. Then texts me again and says 11:20 and hangs up on me and texts me I should go elsewhere. After a shouting match and threats I call the office and the owner instead of being apologetic curses me for arguing with his worker and hangs up on me. DO NOT USE THIS UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY AT ANY COST
It surprises me that the owner of a company does not realize his company is not licensed or doesn’t do work in CT after being in business for so long? Also has his rep call me the morning of a scheduled appointment, to call me and changed the appt 3 times then ultimately telling me to go elsewhere. And I have the texts to prove the threats made by his employee. And yes I made them back. What happened to the customer is always right? And you told me to lose your f…… number. It’s recorded if you would like to hear. Shame on you sir!

County Heat and AC just installed a Daikin mini-spilt system in our home. Their service, workmanship and price were excellent. Aside from comfort, Joe and Mike knew noise (and cost) was a huge issue for us, and their advice to go with the ultra-quiet Daikin units did not disappoint! 10/10 recommend. 1 week of sleeping comfortably already.

When my central air conditioner stopped working I called County. I have 2 little girls (1 who is disabled and doesn't do well in the heat). They came the same day I called, gave me a price for a new AC unit, set up a financing plan, ordered the new AC, and installed it within 2 days. They are amazing. The work was done quickly and professionally. Also, when I had a question after installation, I sent an email and my question was answered immediately. County took care of everything and we are extremely grateful. I would absolutely recommend County to anyone who has an AC problem!

They installed cellulose insulation on my home and a dehumidifierfor the basement. Problem areas are definitely warmer. There were a couple hiccups along the way but Jay addressed every issue.

I go back 10 years with the owner, Anthony B of County Heat and AC so it was a no brainer to call on them to handle a bunch of work I needed resulting from some interior renovations. Anthony himself came to my home to review and survey the work. He gave me a call the following day to discuss the scope and price. I found he understood what I needed, offered smart recommendations and was fairly priced. The work was done in a quick and efficient manner and he personally was on site while the work was done. Follow up calls were provided to make sure I was happy with the work. I would recommend CH and AC for any of your A/C and heat work.

We used County Heat & A/C to have new ductless units installed in our older home. Joe provided us with a competitive quote/estimate and was completely upfront about what we would need and the various costs associated with the project. He priced two systems and explained the pros/cons of each one. When the work actually began Anthony and his crew were fantastic in all of their efforts to do the work in a professional, efficient and respectful manner (we had a child napping often during the prime working hours). We would recommend them without hesitation.

They came late afternoon on New Years Eve after my furnace burnt out. They assessed it and they installed a new furnace Jan. 2. This could have been a very uncomfortable situation on the coldest week. Mike, Charlie, and Jim always returned calls in a timely manner even during this busy season. They are true experts and professionals.

Fast forward.. I had an issue that needed part. They informed me that the part was under warranty and within a week it was in and installed. They worked with me regarding this issue. Nice family owned business who treat their customers like family.
