Imagine you called your auto mechanic and described an engine problem. Even though he could make a decent profit, he instead tells you, quite honestly, that fixing it would cost more than the car was worth, and you could take that same money and buy a new car. The mechanic makes nothing, and you invest that same money into a new car and now you're very happy. Instead of an auto mechanic, it was John at Advanced A/C, and instead of an engine, it was my A/C. After he was recommended to me, I checked his excellent review history, and I dropped him a text. He got back pretty quick, and we went back and forth in a short period - and ultimately he convinced me to forego the repair and just replace it. John came to the rescue with some programming challenges I had on two new Friedrichs. I was getting a bit frustrated trying to figure out why the internet interface did not respond to the app, and he did an amazing job troubleshooting and getting new hardware and solving the problem. Few people would go the extra mile but he pretty much ran a marathon to get me back in control of my a/c. Fantastic service!!!
I had the good fortune in having Mr. John Plaut assist me in the set up of my WIFI to access my new Friedrich Air Conditioner. Upton providing my WIFI access name - John was able to quickly enter the information needed to connect my Laptop and my cell to control my devise. As a user who is not fully versed in installation of WIFI devises I found the Manual extremely vague - I feel the writer of this installation instruction should have had better illustrations showing both what is correct input and / or wrong inputs.
The tech support of a friendly gentleman like John being available was a plus. A credit to himself his company and giving a feeling that the Air Conditioner with these features are usable and have value.
Before I forget I tried using the Friedrich Help Desk - never was able to speak anyone ( call Queues forever)
John is so very knowledgeable! I had someone else before who meant well but didn't have the know how. He's walking encyclopedia on how to connect the computer and iPhone to the AC. And he said I could call him if I ever had any problem. He's a rare breed of helpful into the future! Irene S

This is a nasty little procedure; Friedrich IT staff referred us to Plaut. He speaks to himself as he performs the many steps needed to make this much-too-complex piece of work go as quickly as possible.
Some people never connect these remote control AC's to their system. If you need someone for more challenging tasks hire these guys.
John was amazing and very responsive. The work was done perfectly and in a timely manner. I would hire Advance AC & TV anytime and recommend them highly!
