Earlier this year, a technician installed a new friedrich mini split in my apartment, and then abandoned the job with one of the units not working. Jon agreed to take a look. He gave me a fair price, showed up on time. Did whatever it took to get the unit working. He’s great at communicating, clearly explaining costs and timing. He also came up with a solution to fix an HVAC in another part of the building.
I’ll be contacting Jon for HVAC and mini split issues going forward, and would highly recommend him to others.
My family had a wonderful experience working with John. He helped my mom who is elderly replace an AC unit that had problems from the start and was less than 2 years old. My mom needed the AC due to health problems. John understood the urgency and quickly came to assess the problem. He quickly emailed Friedrich and made follow-up calls to them. In the end my mother had a new replacement unit delivered and installed within days! We are super appreciative of John's help in this matter. Just purchased a 24,000 btu air conditioner to replace my old one. John gave me a quote over the phone and arranged an installation date. The workers called before arriving and were on time and courteous. They installed a new sleeve and air conditioner and removed the old one. He answered any questions we had and they meticulously cleaned up after themselves. John, the owner, came by later to check the installation and provided us with our receipt. Can't say enough good things about this company. I will definitely tell my friends about them and will use them again.
I have a Friedrich Kuhl air conditioner that is 8 months old. The air conditioner worked, but it would not connect to my network. I went back and forth with phone calls to Friedrich and Verizon (my internet carrier) The reason why connecting it to my network is important is that I spend 95% of my time in bed due to ill health. I finally got Friedrich to give me the name of someone that could help me. It couldn't be a regular air conditioner repair person. I needed somebody special that knew Friedrich air conditioners as well as networking. After speaking with John, I knew I had the right person. At first he wasn't sure he could help me because I lived way out of his service area. When I explained my situation, he said he will do his best to help. I wasn't sure if my A/C was still under warranty, but John didn't care. He said we will wait and see if Friedrich will pay. He spent a long time on the phone with me to make sure he had all the necessary information. At the end of the conversation he said he would work on my issue and get back to me. I expected a week or so, it took him a day. He shipped the parts I needed. I spoke to him on Tuesday, the parts arrived on Friday and I installed them within an hour. As soon as I plugged in the two devices, my A/C was immediately connected and worked perfectly. Granted it was difficult for me to install a part on my A/C, but I managed. I cannot stress how nice John was. He is extremely knowledgeable and helped without talking down to me. He is definitely a fantastic technician and I will definitely call him again if I can use his expertise. I would gladly pay him extra to travel to my home. I find it difficult to find high quality service people that really care. John is one of the very few that do. Do not hesitate to call him if you need his services. You won't be sorry.
