We have service contract with McCarthy Heating & Cooling CO. Twice a year. They prompt the service visit with a post card. Scheduling the appointment is easy over the phone. We received reminders several days before the visit and our technician called with specific ETA the morning of the visit. Technician was Covid compliant, professional, personable, and thorough.

I am writing to let you know how impressed I was with the service I received from your company. We had a back up in our septic tank on a Sunday morning, and our regular maintenance people were not available. I called the Home Advisor number for help, and they connected me with your company. The service tech, Shawn, came out at 7:30 am on a Sunday morning to see if he could help us out. The next day I spoke with him by phone to get an estimate

Once we were able to set a date for the installation and all the parts had arrived, tech made sure the installation went nicely. He is very knowledgeable and polite. Quick reply to my messages leading up to the installation. I have used McCarthy Heating & Cooling CO for both AC and furnace installations and I am very satisfied.

My experience was great. I had a problem with my AC unit and it was a lot more than I expected. The technician was very honest and told me what the problem was and how much it would cost to fix it. He took the time to explain everything to me. I will definitely be using them again in the future.

Incredibly unprofessional operation that is NOT locally based. They must have purchased fake reviews. I called to have my ductless HVAC system cleaned, since I just bought a home in Floral Park and thought it was great since they appeared to be in the neighborhood and were able to send a technician over the following day. However, I noticed that my confirmation email specified air duct cleaning. I called once again the morning of my appointment at 9 a.m. to state that I have ductless units and wanted to ensure that they had me down for the appropriate service. I was assured that all was OK and that the technician would be able to look at my unit. He got here and SURPRISE....he was expecting an air duct cleaning and does not handle work on ductless units. Called their customer service about the issue and they were extremely unhelpful. So, save yourself the time and hassle and look elsewhere! I should have realized they were a scam when they were trying to sell me a $99 subscription service during the first call.

Our technician was awesome! He conducted maintenance on our system. We are new to this area and I truly appreciated the mini training session he provided regarding our unit and thermostat.
