Couldn't have asked for a better experience. As a new homeowner, this was the 1st time I've needed to call a repair in for our furnace. RES-COM did a fantastic job through their technician Patrick. He was/is exceedingly skilled and a complete professional. Patrick knew exactly how to handle our situation and educated me about what was going on and about the specifics to my particular furnace. Again, thank you RES-COM and thank you Patrick!!
Service Technician came out to fix my A/C. They drilled several large holes in my drywall, and said they couldn't fix the issue. Then they asked for $150 for the service. I was able to fix it myself through the first hole they drilled. The manager/owner also called me looking for payment, I explained the situation and he told me to never call him again and he hung up.
Moved into a new build home, found out the A/C did not work. RES-COM got a tech out in just a couple hours after I called on a holiday. They came and assessed the terrible job the builder did and completed and repaired the A/C installation. The technician was friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend!
I cannot recommend Rescom enough. After a contractor was unable to do an installation – I contacted among a few others, Rescom. They promptly came out (the owner himself) did a full assessment of the home and my needs and gave a price that beat all other estimates I had by hundreds. The job performed was top notch, by top notch employees, and the quality of the installation could not have been better and neater. I would never even consider any other option for future HVAC needs in my home other than Rescom.
Res-Com installed a new furnace & air conditioner for me this summer. Everyone I dealt with was great. The installers were very professional & they left my house taking every bit of trash & scrap with them. I highly recommend this company!!!
On October 11, 2018 we had our furnace check over for the winter. A big shout out to Shane our tech person. He was thorough and explained everything he did. We were very satisfied with our first time with Res-Com. This is our furnace place from now on.
We had a good experience with Falso with a water heater repair, so called them when our Goodman furnace needed repair. They were easy to contact and charge $99 to show up for the service call - reasonable and on par with other vendors. Mark, the service guy showed up about 40 minutes after the 'courtesy call' telling me he was on his way. He made a little effort to get the snow off his boots before tracking the rest of the snow onto our hardwoods. Upon hearing the inducer motor run (whining/grinding noise) and looking up the furnace model, he quoted me $728 plus tax to replace the inducer motor and assembly. I paid him his $99 plus tax for the service call, and called Res-Com, who did the repair for less than half the Falso quote. The part itself is around $125, so Falso marks up the part 500%. I can understand making a profit, but I nearly fell over when I saw the quote. Another frustrating point with Falso, when I made the appointment, I tried to give the customer rep the furnace model number and even told them what the problem was - they didn't want to hear any of it and said the repair tech would determine information and the problem - so even if I did go with Falso, they would have to come back a second time after sourcing the part. Res-com showed up, part in hand and made the repair in under an hour. If you need repair on a Goodman furnace in the Syracuse area, call Res-com.
Horrible company! I was in WA visting family for Christmas when my friend let me know my furnace had gone out. I called rescom and explained my situation. They sent some guy who told me my chimney was clogged and to call Breathe Easy of NNY because they do that kind of work. I did call Breathe Easy and when the 'professional' got there, he changed the pressure sensor (common part that PROFESSIONALS usually have handy!) and fixed the furnace. And to be safe, he checked for a clog and found nothing clogged anywhere! So thank you rescom for the referral. I will use Breathe Easy from now on. Just wish you hadn't waisted my time. At least you didn't charge me. That would have been even more of an insult.
Had a central air unit put in last week. $2550 for a 2.5 ton Rheem high efficiency unit which includes the condensate pump, installation & first 2 annual maintenance checks.
