From April through July 2022 Number One scheduled six appointments for an advertised service at my residence via PNM. Twice they called to re-schedule. Four times they just did not show up with no communication. I took time off of work to await their arrival which had an actual cost on five occasions as one call came about the time that their technician was to arrive. I believe that they never intended to complete this service based on an array of unverifiable and easily falsifiable statements offered in excuse. Additionally, the operator defended this kind of treatment because of the service that was promised to be performed (no cost to the end user, it would be covered by PNM). What kind of company makes that many appointments over that length of time (more than a third of a year) and does not fulfill? After those six missed appointments they just canceled. There is no reason for me and others that were fraudulently (deceptive behavior) scheduled for this service to ever consider this dishonest firm.

Number One Plumbing, A/C & Electrical came out and fixed my A/C unit. I had called to schedule the repair and they were booked out a couple of weeks, but offered me after hours rates to get the job done next day which I greatly appreciated. Kyle was super friendly and the A/C was fixed in about 20 minutes! The reason there is only 3 stars is that I was quoted $145 per hour, but two guys came for the repair. The job invoice shows they started at 7:16, and finished at 7:43, for a total labor of $290. I just wish they would have quoted me a price for two people, as the job took less than a half hour, but I was charged for two hours. Just be aware of the labor charges as they add up really fast.

Called Number One for a quote. A older gentleman came over on a Friday & look at my Heating/Cooling unit that was making tremendous noise. He said he knew what was wrong, & get me a quote by Monday. No quote was sent to me. I called on Tuesday & they scheduled a repairman on Thursday. He (Kyle) came & said it would be an inexpensive quick fix, there was a bent piece of metal holding the squirrel cage. He showed to me, & got the part fixed, only for the unit to continue to make a lot of noise. He came back the next day (Friday) to fix the squirrel cage, same thing he fixed something else, to no avail. He said he was taking his daughter to the fair so he would come back on Saturday. Still no success until Sunday. I asked if he wanted to settle up payment that Sunday. He said it was $849, & said the company would bill me the next day. I checked my e-mail Monday no bill. I called company to have Kyle call back to discuss bill, plus the unit is still making a slight high pitched noise. Called again a week later. I didn't get a call back or bill. A month later a women from billing calls me tells me I am delinquent in paying them $949! I explained the situation & she butchered my last name. I asked her to please call my by my first name since she couldn't pronounce my last name Benavidez. She got upset & said she had a stutter. She indicated that I was making fun of her stutter & would have the owner call me. I was not giving her a hard time about a stutter. I was frustrated with the company ugh! I will pay when I get a bill in my e-mail. I talked to Kyle Oct 26, 2021. He apologized for their receptionist not relaying call. We discussed bill, he said his quote didn't include tax, which is fine. They did include a 13.98 late fee. Which is has been waved.

The person who came to fix our swamp cooler did a great job. The swamp cooler seemed to be blowing hot air, not cooling. And if it was set to “high cool”, it would work about 10 minutes then shut off. J.A. fixed it by assessing the situation - the cooler system was stressed and overheating. Fixed it and now we can survive this heat wave!
