Mike Gustafson is very professional. He troubleshooted my problem with my furnace and also checked all connections from the air cooler. He was quite proficient and very honest about his assessment. I will use him for all of my plumbing heating and air conditioning needs.

I'm writing this review from the peace and comfort of my beautiful AIR CONDITIONED house, thinking about how sometimes you just KNOW there's something wrong, but then everyone is telling you, "Nah, nothing's wrong, everything is fine" and you're like "It's literally NOT FINE."

That's the situation I was in, in the summer of 2022. I just knew that something was wrong with my swamp cooler, but two other companies (who shall remain nameless) had come out and taken a look and said, we're just having a really hot summer, swamp coolers don't do well in humidity, bla bla bla.

Well surely I didn't give these people hundreds of dollars for them to be WRONG? Like, I'm not a cooling professional! They must know what they're doing!? ...maybe it's me. Maybe I'm just getting less tolerant of the heat?

The final straw was when my mom came to visit. In JULY. She said, "I packed long sleeves because your house is always cold. But it's hot in here now. Do you have a fan?" Well. I cannot let my sainted elderly mother be uncomfortable.

I found Gustafson's through a friend. When Mike got to my house, I told him all my sad tales; and he got out his devices and got to work.

In two hours he had not only discovered the problem, but fixed it! I was so overjoyed when I realized the temperature in my house was dropping, I blurted out, "Ok we're in a permanent relationship now. I'm never calling anyone else ever again!" Mike did a good job of hiding what I can only assume was an expression of panic as he realized I was serious, but he remained professional, thanked me for my business and gave me a bill, which was not only reasonable but LESS than the other companies charged (they're lucky they're not getting scathing reviews) and the truth is that Mike and Gustafson's Heating Cooling and Plumbing are worth ten times what they charge. I feel lucky that they were able to take me on their schedule. I absolutely recommend this company and I'm telling everyone I know.
