Reed's Heating and Cooling

This is my new go to person for heating and cooling. I called early Sunday morning and received a call back in 10 minutes. They came out on Monday and due to the age and condition of the furnace we decided to replace. Being I had no heat they were able to adjust their schedule and come back on Tuesday. They even offered me a house heater on Sunday to keep me comfortable until the issue could be resolved. I felt as if I was a family friend the way I was treated by both Frank and his wife.

Our initial experience was great - over the 4th of July weekend, our central air wasn't putting out any airflow. We called Reed's and they suspected that our coil was frozen, and walked us how to fix it on our own, which worked. So a few days later, we called to have them come check out our system and do maintenance, and we were informed it would need to be replaced in the future. They took photos, and told us they'd email an estimate for replacing the system including financing options. The tech also said he'd send photos of the problems our system was having.
And we never heard from them again. No estimate, no photos, no follow up.

Four AC contractors installed the AC system in my home, in both the attic and outside, on one of the hottest day of the summer. Their level of tenacity, expertise and courtesy during this 7 hour day was commendable. I was able to feel comfortable and proceed with my own work as they worked quietly and without fanfare. I recommend Reed's Heating and Cooling without reservation. I have used this company for many years for my AC. I will say an added bonus is the extremely competitive price point. However, notwithstanding, the service is paramount -- way beyond any figures!

$250 emergency fee (unfortunately you get dinged for that on top of the repair) but when you have no air conditioning - it is an emergency! They were upfront about the fee and responded very quickly!! Also very professional!

Just had Reeds Heating come right away because we had no heat. Damian was our tech and was very Professional, He Repaired our unit and we couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend. We will definitely use them again.

Called for servicing on my air conditioning, & then had to change appointment. No problem at all ! Very warm & friendly response & assured me, my service person would be wearing a mask & gloves... Damian Arduino, the service technician arrived promptly.

Reed's is the absolute worst Company. I don't normally write reviews but their service was SO HORRIBLE that I wanted to warn others. We purchased a home in Jackson and during the inspection the heating/cooling system failed for not working correctly. They charged TWO service calls to come out and "fix" things. 2 months later (after moving in to our new home) the whole system is not working properly. We've had to hire a NEW company to fix what should have been fixed before purchase. We actually have our Attorney involved as Reed's totally misrepresented their work and did NOT fix the problem! Heed this warning. DO NOT USE this company!

Called, they came out on August 19th. Tech has no idea what was wrong and called his boss. Stated he needed to figure things out and that they would contact for a solution. I am still sitting here waiting for someone to call me and it is now September 7th.
Unreliable doesn't even begin to rate this business.
They were quick with the bill which was paid immediately and then asked for a rating, well guess what if I could rate them a 0 I would.

My Father passed away suddenly and I was in charge of selling his property. The AC system needed to be replaced and Reed's was recommended. I am a NY resident and the property was in NJ. When I was communicating with the office staff and securing a date for installation, I was told that the permit would be filed when I signed the contract. That did not happen. The permit was filed AFTER the installation. We sold the property and now I was concerned about the permit which is needed to go to closing. My realtor advised me to call the township which I did and was told by the town that they were waiting for the check for the permit. I was surprised as I thought this was done when I signed the contract. When I called Reed's office I left a voicemail about what I was told from the township. Well, Mr. Reed though it would be a good idea to call me and berate me because I had the nerve to call the town! He spoke to me like I was absolute trash! He literally screamed at me. I am morning the loss of my Father! To think after you spend over $7000 with someone, the would speak to you with kindness and understanding. I followed the instructions from my realtor as the permits were very important. Once they got my money it was okay to yell and berate me. I would NOT recommend this company at all and neither will the contacts in the Freehold area especially the business that recommended them!

I got a full HVAC replacement. After getting many estimates and getting the impression that I was seeing salesman after salesman and ridiculous price variations, I met the owner Frank and I immediately felt that he was truly honest. He gave me a great price, great quality products and the service, really, just amazing all around. My old HVAC system was ancient and my bills were outrageous when I bought my new house. Best investment I did (what a difference on utility bills with my new high efficiency system!!) and I am glad that I listened to Frank's expertise and that I chose Reed's. I did not want to wait to have an urgent replacement done, and the peace of mind I have, truly is PRICELESS. Thanks Reed's!!!
