Excellent service. I needed a part for my customers machine. I showed the clerk a screenshot of the part I needed, he went right in the back and got the part for me. In and out in less than 5 minutes. I'm happy and my customer is happy.

I needed a drag-link socket. I called Clifton with a valid part#, asked the halfwit person if it's in stock. He told me it is, so I drove an hour to get there only to then be told I needed an account to purchase it. I wasted fifteen minutes setting up an account with them. I gave them the part# again only to be informed "Well it's in stock, but we have to order it". THAT'S NOT WHAT IN-STOCK MEANS! I could order it myself, but needed it ASAP! I felt bad for the guy I was talking to waiting next to me who's motor came in all rusty in a water laden carton, talk about someone who wasn't a happy camper. The employee's heads are the only thing emptier than the warehouse!

All around horrible experience. Ordered a 72 pack of a, back ordered product, waited over a month to get it. I called to ask if they could hold the order one more day. So that I could rent a car I was told yes, today I walk in and they told me they sent back the item.

I was told that "we sent it back because it was an order from September" but was only delivered at the end of October. So today I walk in after getting a rental van and I am told there is nothing we can do. I'm beyond angry I can't believe this is the type of service with no solution. I'm not going to do business with Grainger. This is the 2nd time something has gone wrong.

Just wanted to share what a great experience i had with Grainger few weeks ago. I've been dealing with Grainger for over 20 Years all there branches throughout NJ Clifton is by far the BEST branch. They are always so helpful and go above and beyond Like few weeks ago I needed a part I tried getting it from other supply houses I deal with with no luck,. I figured i try Grainger. The girl who helped me was great. It was a part that was not in their catalog and they did not carry but they did deal with the manufacture. She made calls for me to the manufacture and was able to get me my part that no other supply house could have. They are the best branch to deal with great customer service.

Pretty poor experience. Ordering online was a pain. No order status was displayed and I had to call the call center multiple times to get status. There was an issue with ordering the item from the manufacturer and it had to be reordered. Grainger agents take a week to reply to email.

Things were not better at the physical location where I needs to pick up the item. After being told that the item is ready to be picked up, it could not be found. A representative at the physical location told me that call center people don't know anything about how things are on the ground and their word can't be trusted. Seemed like they had major issues with inventory tracking. Eventually the item was found in the car of one of the employees.

A major company operating like a mom and pop shop but with none of the charm. It took 28 days from placing an order to me physically getting it, mostly because of delays introduced by disorganization at Grainger. I will avoid this company in the future.

Sooooo sloooow. It took 15+ minutes to get to the counter with 1 person in line ahead, both trips. "Express pickup" was unstaffed so even ordering online didn't save time. Prices are high, much higher than other indie places.

The tech support guy I spoke to who assured me the rota cutters I ordered would fit my drill, after giving him the make and model, and specifically clarifying this point multiple times...was wrong. Hours driving/waiting in line to pickup and return a simple order. I hate coming to Grainger but if they're the only show in town and I need a tool which they apparently don't even sell, even if they tell me they do, sometimes I have to suffer through a visit to the worst supply house known to man. On the plus side, counter girls were nice and they do have a decent supply of atypical items, though nothing that much better run independent stores wouldn't. I will likely return, even though I sincerely hope I never have to.

Clean, friendly employees, well stocked and organized. Everybody had mask and glove. Made me feel safe. Have sidewalk pickups. They brought my things out to my car

My visit to Grainger is always pleasant.
The customer service is great, everyone is Friendly, knowledgeable about most products.
The wait isn’t too long, they seem like they take their time servicing each customer. I will recommend others to do business With Grainger.

No inside pick up but outside contact was pleasant and efficient! My order was called back to Warehouse and brought to my truck within minutes. They even helped me load it.
Very satisfied.
