C & C Air Conditioning and Heating

The HVAC unit in our house started to leak onto the basement floor. Most of the interior of the unit was rusted. As an ordinary homeowner, I know nothing about HVAC engineering. From contractors who came to give us estimates, I learned that it was a 25-year-old, 4 ton, single stage unit. I had to use Google to learn about the various type of new HVAC units available.

The first contractor I called gave me an estimate for $15,000 to replace. But the technician did not present us with any options, and I didn't feel like I was getting professional customer service. A second contractor gave us an estimate to replace our unit for $7,900. He did not explain any options, much less their pros and cons. He didn't plan on getting a permit, and if any additional electrical, etc. work needed to be done, we would have to get and pay an electrician. (To be fair that would explain his low price estimate.) However, my wife wanted a high quality HVAC, something better than we had previous, plus she wanted a feeling of assurance that we were getting quality work.

We had a neighbor who had gotten a new HVAC system from C&C Air, Heat and Plumbing, through Costco Her system looked like high quality, professional work. When I called C&C to get an estimate, the friendly woman on the phone enthusiastically told me they were sending so-and-so, one of their best guys to do the estimate. When he came, he was very forthcoming, very communicative. He explained all of our options and their cost. He answered all of my wife's questions and addressed all of her concerns (I couldn't be there at that time). He even explained how/why our unit rusted out inside (condensation dripping back down the plastic tube into the unit!) They would take care of the permit. They would do any potential electrical, plumbing, etc. work that might be needed. They will replace the plastic condensation tube with a different mechanism that will not drip back into the unit.

We went with C&C. They gave us peace of mind about what we were getting and paying for. We agreed to a two stage, variable speed system, despite a cost of $16,000, including the Costco discount. (Obviously, a two stage variable speed unit is going to cost more than a single stage unit.) You get what you pay for. I have no regrets. Besides looking good, it improved the quality and value of our home, as well as lowered our energy bills.

C&C also does plumbing. If I need plumbing work in the future, who do you think I am going to call?

I used C&C a couple of years ago to install a new AC system to replace my failing old system. Their pricing was competitive and they techs were extremely professional. After losing my HVAC equipment to Ida flooding, I called them to replace my equipment. They gave me options for the equipment, including a high efficiency unit to combine my boiler and hot water. They were able to turn around in two days to get all the parts and install started for me. I highly recommend these guys. They are all great technicians and the folks in the office are extremely helpful.

I had a plumbing emergency at my business late Monday afternoon and the issue was resolved quickly. Very happy and satisfied with C & C and the job they did. Wayne was the plumber who came and fixed our issue and he did an amazing job. He was attentive and professional. He made sure that we would be able to open for business the next morning with no issues. We would recommend your company and services to anyone with heating, AC, and plumbing issues.

We had a new high velocity small duct AC system installed this fall and were very happy with the team that supported us. Lou, our salesperson, readily answered all of our questions and worked with us as we determined the timing of the install. Dylan, Mike, and Mo did the installation and did an amazing job minimizing the impact of the new ductwork and equipment on the walls and living spaces our house. They were always professional and addressed all of our questions and concerns.

We had a very good experience with C & C. We contacted them through our Costco membership. Their rep Ed Aronson was quick to respond. He answered all of our questions. The service was scheduled quickly after our appointment with Ed. The technicians came for the appointment right on time and installed our new AC unit in the estimated time frame. There were no surprised and they cleaned up after the installation. We received a fair price and are very pleased with how the new system is working.

Very good customer service! I called because my heat was not working. The technician who came was very knowledgable and polite. I also had a chance to speak to a manager and he answered all of my questions. This is my first time using an HVAC company and I will certainly be using C&C in the future.

The installation went smoothly and the installers were professional and friendly. Upon completion, they cleaned up all of the work areas, (which looked better when they left than when they arrived).

The only issue that arose was that the condensate pump wasn't working properly, and it was located in an area where it could be heard too easily in our living spaces. Brian came out and replaced the pump, and relocated it to where the noise was significantly reduced. He also went a couple extra miles and made some improvements to the functionality of the drain tube.

The guys in the field, from the salesman (Ed) to the techs were great, but I don't want to pass over the folks in the office. Everyone I dealt with was super friendly and helpful.

If every business was run like this one, the state's Consumer Affairs office would have to close due to lack of work.

C & C installed a ducted mini split air conditioner in my house. Since day 1, the ac will not turn off after the set temperature reaches. Two different groups of technicians came but couldn't resolve the issue. They said they have to contact Lennox for assistance, but no update. The system has been installed for 3 weeks and I still have to wake up during the night to turn on/off the ac.

C&C replaced my attic A/C flexible ducts. They arrived right on time and did a very good job removing the old ducts and installing the new ones. We later noticed very little air was going to two of the bedrooms. C&C followed up to correct the problem and everything is working well now. We
