Tru Comfort Heating and Air Conditioning

I used Tru Comfort to install a new furnace in my Tahoe house in January, while I am almost 1000 miles away in AZ now. The transaction was simple and professional. I appreciate how responsive Dillon was to all my questions. He made the process very painless as a new furnace was installed within 48 hours of my initial call. I believe the price was fair, and appreciate his going above and beyond by giving us a carbon monoxide detector, as well as a discount for the Google Nest thermostat which we already had. Thank you Dillon.

After our AC stopped working during the worst heat wave Reno has seen in a while, Tru Comfort Air was our savior! They built time into their busy schedule to swing by the same way and diagnose and fix the problem quickly. Dillan has excellent customer service and was more than happy to help us - he was SO nice. And now our AC is running great. I highly recommend Tru Comfort’s services!

First, I had scheduled for an 8-10 a m. Appointment. I work nights and get off at 8 a.m. so I just waited, close to 10 I called for an update only to be told they forgot to book me, so they scheduled me for Noon-2. Tech showed up, was over for less then 5 minutes only to tell me that my furnace was too old. He took my email address and said he would email me some options and quotes. Never heard from him, closer to 5 I called the company to ask for an update, left a message, didn't hear back from anybody. I now have an appointment with another company, but couldn't get an appointment until Wednesday, so it'll be going on two weeks with a broken furnace and 2 young kids. I could be wrong and misunderstanding what happened, but I feel like I was an after thought and burdened business by being squeezed in, so a quick way was found to get me as an accomplished appointment? I went with Tru Comfort because they are highly rated, but my experience unfortunately so far is nothing too positive that I can share

I was able to get a same day appointment when I called to see if Dillan was available to check out our furnaces. The bad news was that both furnaces needed to be replaced (original furnaces from 2004), but the good news was that the install would be the next day.
Dillan and his brother were professional, prompt, and very knowledgeable. I chose to use Tru Comfort after reading several great reviews. And now I’m here to leave a great review! I have already referred a few people to Dillan, and will continue to do so. We will definitely use Tru Comfort again.
