    If I could give a zero star, I would. The Management company that I am currently employed under retained their services for an a/c call. The resident is a 95 year old lady. Carl’s left her apartment with no a/c and no follow up with the management office. I found out via an angry call from the residents daughter. The manager at Carls was completely unapologetic for the lack of follow up and responded with “we told you guys 2 years ago that your a/c’s was trash”. That had nothing to do with the complete lack of regard as a “professional” company today. As the Property Manager I raised my voice, but frankly, I have a right to. I have and will defend my residents. We are paying for a service that was left unresolved , with a resident shouting at us. Any Property Manager looking to retain Carls as a contractor should run…and run fast. Also, this has been edited in response to the managers response. I’m not understanding how my language can be construed as a “racist” term for you? You have no historical reference point of attachment to make such a claim. Help me understand. However, a 95 year old Mexican lady left with no a/c in 97 degree apartment can surely make such a claim. Shall we go there? A clear case of racially based professional malfeasance to say the least. So no, I don’t respond to threats, and no I won’t take it down, unless you decide to do right by a resident that you abandoned, delivered NO follow up to the management office, and, since she is bedridden, actually endangered her life. Do better.

    I hire these guys for work. They service a large facility and always deliver on service. So when my home AC went down, I thought I’d see how they do with residential.

    I got the same excellent service for my home, as I receive for the business.

    Their tech, Anthony was very professional, and had the parts on hand, so no waiting. This was great, as it was one of the more difficult parts to obtain.

    I can trust them with both a multimillion dollar facility and my home. It doesn’t get much better than that.

    I can say without a doubt this is my AC company of choice for properties in Nevada.

    These guys are the best, I'm a disabled vet retired tradesman that's use to fixing my own stuff.I bought an older home with a cobbled up exh fan duct on the range hood,with the arthritis in my hands I just can't hold tools to fix it.I called 3 A/C ductwork places they wouldn't even bother coming out, then I remembered Carl's, they had done work at my old house.I talked to Chris the shop foreman (great guy)and he had a guy at my place the next day, Matt the tech they sent out was GREAT! He had the ductwork installed like a pro in less than an hour.The price was very very fair! They treated me great!The ole ladys happy cuz when she frys bacon in the morn it no longer stinks up the house! Thanks Chris and Matt for making some old folks HAPPY! Carl's is the BEST!

    Carl's has been my go to for about 20 years. They have serviced 3 of my rentals and our primary residence. The service and expertise is always right on, they fix everything the first time. If you need repair work or installations you can feel confident that Carl's can take care of whatever you need.

    Carl's has been our Air Conditioning Company for over 2 years. They replaced our Thermostat initially in 2014, and advised that our 13 year old Air Conditioning Unit, will probably need to be replaced in 1 or 2 years. In 2015 Carl's serviced our Air Conditioning Unit, and again advised, "this is a fix for now, but ultimately, AC unit will have to be replaced". Today, July 12, 2016, we called Carl's as our house was 81 Degrees, and they are replacing the outside AC Unit, as they advised over 2 years ago. I recommend Carl's AC. Quality work, only working on what is needed, polite and knowledgeable staff, quick response time to our request for work.

    I initially did an internet search for an HVAC sheet metal fabricator in Las Vegas and found Carl’s Air Conditioning & Sheet Metal. They were able to fabricate what I needed in only one day. Subsequently, I needed a heat pump inspection done for another project and of course contacted Carl’s as I was already impressed with their prompt and courteous service. They were able to immediately schedule a service appointment and correctly diagnose the problems I was having with the unit. The heat pump was an older unit (over 15 years old) and although it was still functional, the technician advised me that I might consider a newer and more efficient unit at some point in the future as the unit I had was an “off brand” that is typically manufactured to a lower standard than “brand name” units even though they are manufactured by the same company. In other words, they are “economy units” designed mostly for rental properties. The technician also noted that most of the insulation inside the roofing transition that connects the unit to the ductwork had come loose and was blocking about 80% of the airflow which accounted for most of the issues I was having. After further investigation, he also discovered that most of the existing ductwork had holes in it or was coming loose from the distribution plenum. I guess that came as no surprise as the property is over 40 years old and I’m sure the existing ductwork was at least 20 years old. So at best, my heat pump was mostly conditioning the air in the attic. At this stage it was obviously time to make some decisions on how to proceed. After considering the age of the heat pump and the condition of the ductwork, and discussing options with the technician, I decided to replace the heat pump with a brand new more efficient heat pump as well as replacing all the existing ductwork with a far superior engineered solution than was currently in place. Let me tell you that although that certainly wasn’t what I expected when I had the system inspected for what seemed to be a minor problem, I’m ecstatic with the way the new system performs. I expect my energy bills to improve dramatically and with summer fast approaching, all of this will be a welcome relief and one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I feel that all of the employee’s I consulted with at Carl’s were very fair and honest with me every step of the way. They even include a 10 year parts AND labor warranty. Nobody That I’m aware of does that! Now that’s peace of mind and that’s worth a lot! Carl’s is a family owned business in Las Vegas for over 50 years. You just don’t stay in business anywhere for that long if you don’t treat your customers with honesty, integrity, and respect. Every one of their employees that I talked to had been working there for many years. Some of them have worked there for literally decades. That tells you a lot about the company you’re doing business with. If you want honesty, integrity, and prompt courteous service, then call Carl’s AC next time you’re looking for a new HVAC unit or just service. I definitely give them 5 stars. My only choice from now on for sales and service! Thank you Carl’s!

    Formerly, prior to retiring, I supervised the Henderson Police Department, which gave me a pretty good understanding of how nice it is to hear when you have a great employee. Your man (Billy) responded to my home today to repair a problem with my air conditioner. He was articulate, intelligent, and kind. He not only diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly, but was well versed on your maintenance program, which we are going to get. Throughout all of that he still managed to be patient with my 5 year old Granddaughter who was driving us all crazy, and made her laugh. This employee represents your company well.
