Northern Tool + Equipment

I used to be a manager there and i got fired because i took my breaks on the weekend and i was only there about a month and a half im a diabetic i need to eat. Not even a write up or warning..i thought i was doing a great job providing awsome customer service building relationships with customers selling the warranties that they been struggling to push out the door. I wonder whats going on

Management here closed 10 minutes early March 29. Also had a stihl saw on display for $219 so I took it to the register and they said no and made a big fuss over the situation. Very unprofessional. Won't ever shop here again. Made my visit very uncomfortable.

Over priced tools that are not as good of quality as Home Depot. Only thing I buy there now are casters to build factory carts. I am now waiting 5 weeks for an order that was supposed to delivery in 2 weeks.

We recently purchased a wood stove from Omaha Northern Tool (I'll write a separate review about the product once we've used it). It's a no frills store but has a good selection. We were helped by Michael who was very helpful and went out of his way for us. He gave us good tips and different ideas plus he didn't rush us. Was a good experience!

No customer service every time I have been there. They never want to help me find something.

I’m sad to say northern tool has lost another customer. I have enjoyed buying form northern tool in the past but they have the Worst customer service I’ve Experienced recently they don’t honor what they say they’re going to do when you have a problem. Their staff including managers assistant managers and unfortunately even district managers don’t return phone calls or take care of things when they go bad . Their computer system is antiquated and needs to be updated to today’s standards. Brick and mortar stores wonder why people are going to buy things online through the Internet it’s because you get lots better service and things are taken care of when things go bad . I don’t write negative reviews but my experience with Northern Tool as a whole recently at the Omaha store was very bad and I will never return and will recommend people buying tools elsewhere if they want to be treated fairly.

Get NT flyers & emails. Went there today for an item on sale. Item not available ! (450 lumen headband light) lady offered to sell me some similar item for more money & less brightness. After driving over 25 miles one way, this is pretty poor advertising! Not even offered a “rain check” or at least an equivalent item.

Super help that makes sure you find what you are looking for and also items that would help you with your project. They also helped me to save money on the items. They are worth the trip.

Great store to find parts and just GREAT STUFF for home and auto projects. If nobody has it your did not check with Northern Tool! Sometimes new inventory blocks the isles and employees are a bit slow at providing assistance. I have had to wait long periods of time occasionally to pick up orders.
