AC Doc Heating & Cooling

A/C Doc Heating and Cooling came out as my second opinion after working with a contractor that was smug and unhelpful. I am so thankful that they were the second company assigned to me through my home warranty! They were friendly, treated me with respect, and really helped me to understand the options that I had to fix or replace my very old A/C. So long as I live in this area, I will continue to work with this company! Thank you A/C Doc!

The company was contracted by our home warranty service provider. The technician arrived on time, asked a few questions and went right to work on fixing our unit. Within 30 minutes the technician came back to the door and said that it should be good to go. The AC is cold and we are truly grateful on a 90 degree day. I would definitely recommend this company.

Let me start by saying our exchange was Set up by HSA on a Friday.

In the beginning there was a communication error, which had nothing to do with A/C Doc, they were just given the wrong contact info. Once I reached out to them myself, my call was returned within a hour, very polite on their end and apologetic. The Contractor who came out was beyond excellent. Showed up on time, my wife was there with our baby and 3 dogs, she had put the dogs up. Cory was great playing and talking with my 14 month old, talking to my dogs through the bedroom door. He was able to diagnose the problems quickly, but had to leave for parts. He told us he would have to order them. Couple hours if that later I was contacted by them and he had found the parts and wanted to see about returning early afternoon. Again showed up on time and done great service. He left shortly before I got home from work. I called the office to ask a few questions about our unit, they had him on the phone and everything was answered. I appreciate having someone so down to earth but still professional. I will recommend them, and call upon them when we need to ourselves.

I had a great experience with AC Doc! My home warranty assigned this company to fix my old central AC from 1998. They replaced the compressor and refilled the refrigerant. The office clerk that answers the phone is very helpful and scheduled my repair quickly and easily, and she dealt with long hold times from my frustrating home warranty company to get my repair figured out- saving me time. The repairmen that came to my house were on time, friendly, professional, and did a great job fixing my old air conditioner and didn't try to sell me a bunch of upgrades I don't need. I have a cool house just in time for the next heat wave in KC, and it didn't cost me an arm and leg like the bigger companies would've charged. I absolutely recommend AC Doc. Thanks guys!!!

Our technician Bill was great. He was on time and knew exactly what he was doing. He resolved our issue with a quickness. He is definitely very appreciated and I would recommend to anyone 10 out of 10.

I have had this company come out twice. Once to service my A/C unit last June and once to fix a bad circuit board causing the furnace not to work this week. Extremely courteous and friendly on the phone and they showed up at or just before the scheduled time window. They drove to multiple parts stores to get the parts needed to complete the job and worked with my schedule to get them installed the next day. Highly recommended!!

AC Doc was contracted through my home warranty company. They were quick and efficient and even taught me some things on my nest. Very skilled and care about getting the job done right.

Working nights, I got home about 8:30 last night and my wife said the temp was dropping even though the furnace was running. We called ac doc and left a message around 9. They called us upon opening and a tech was in our house by 10am. We had heat within the hour and were very pleased. Our technician was very respectful of us, our home and our situation. He was super thorough in his assesment and correction of our issue. He showed me the new part and even brought up the old part that needed replaced when he was finished. Its nice to have a trustworthy hvac company you can rely on. Highly recommended.

They contract with a home warranty and they are under contract to contact people on the weekends. No less than 8 phone calls were placed to them on Friday night when my furnace went out, you can leave a message but no where on their voicemail message does it ever mention that they are not open or will not return a message.

When they finally did call Monday morning at 6:30am the response was like they were surprised that we found someone else to come fix it through the home warranty company.... in fact her exact words were “ you found someone to come fix it ? on the weekend?” And in the snottiest of responses “well we’re not open on the weekends” and I replied yes I and the home warranty company noticed.

A service company that forgets the service part...

Everything from start to
finish was smooth and professional. Will be using them again!!
