Jim, the pipe fitter came out yesterday to clean our two 1920's boilers in our newly acquired owner-occupied duplex. They'd not been cleaned in about 15 years and Jim did a great job. Additionally, he answered all my questions, taught me how to maintain my hot water system, and helped adjust all the settings on the system to be functioning at their best. These guys know their systems - newer and the good old stuff. I have great confidence in Jim's work, he was prompt, efficient and personable. I will absolutely be using them again for maintenance or repairs and would highly recommend at least Jim and their office manager (the two people I interacted with for this experience).

The plumber arrived right on time, explained what he was going to do, and completed the work in a timely fashion.
The cost was very reasonable, especially considering what needed to be done (capping off a 95 year old toilet).
    I’ll definitely use H2C again.

To the rescue 3 times! First was a bathroom pluming project. When another company said no we can't do this, H2C said yes we can. They thought outside the box and made it happen. Second was a A/C roof top unit at my business. Very hot day and they were able to repair and get the office cooling again within 2 hours. Third was my furnace blower at my residence. When another company tried to sell me a whole new furnace H2C was able to repair it and save me thousands. Bottom line I will never use anybody else for heating or pluming needs! They have a very honest approach and a family business feel. I like that. I don't know if it's industry standard now but they always wear there boot slippers to ensure they are not tracking dirt in your house. I like that too. Definitely recommend to anyone!

Very good company to work with i was so impressed. I felt I was the only one that they were working on my air conditioning because all questions were answered right away they were quick to come out and VARY fast to set up an installment . The inspector had proper PPE during the inspection the installer had n it on when he came in but removed it when he started to work witch I totally understand Thanks for making this a pleasant experience.

I was impressed with the service I received from H2C on a cold (-4*) January day. The technician came right when they said he would and called when he was 15 minutes away; put shoe covers on before coming in the house; diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly; explained everything he was doing as I peered over his shoulder; answered all my questions; and gave me some general (and useful) furnace maintenance tips. Total cost was under $100. For an emergency visit. On the one of the coldest days of the year. These folks have a new loyal customer.

Great people and service!! We had Steve, the sales guy from H2C come out to give us a quote on a new furnace and A/C unit. He took one look at our furnace and told us we needed a second opinion. Within a half hour of Steve leaving, the office manager called us to set up an appointment for a free second opinion the next day. When Rob, the tech came out he said that the heat exchange was broken but took the time to find out it was still under warranty. Rob also took the time to show us on the camera exactly what the problem was and saved us a lot of money!!

Darlene is a Doll, and Keith along with his helper (?) got my hot water heater done quickly this morning. My furnace and A/C is from them as well, and our building inspector was super impressed with that installation. They are not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.

We hired H2C to come out and remove and reinstall our water heater, water softener and furnace last year during a remodel in May. Everything went fine and they were on time, everything went back in without a hitch and we were very pleased.

Fast forward a few months and we went to replace our whole house humidifier filter, and the drain tube for the humidifier snapped off. Come to find out, the tech put a hose clamp on the drain spud. Normally this would be a perfectly fine thing to do if the hose isn't staying on, as long as you don't crank the clamp down as much as you can. Well the tech did and the end of the drain tube was now deformed and stuck in the end of the hose.

My wife and I checked pictures that we had taken before and after and noticed that the clamp was not there before.

When we called to see if they would cover replacing it since their tech cranked it down in the first place and broke it, we were met with "we'll call you later on this" with no call, and then through a text message which took 6 days to get back to us, "we cannot take responsibility for old existing equipment, we would be happy to help you out with the repair, however it will be chargeable, but we will not charge you a trip charge"

Unhappy with this response, Pete the President of the company called finally. He stated that he would have to charge us for the time. I tried to tell him that since his employee broke it, he should cover all of it. He refused and then offered to cover the part too (which is only $11 on Amazon for an OEM Aprilaire drain spud). He said that he would go half on the trip charge. Now if this was any other kind of situation, I can be reasonable and accept things that may be unfair. However, once I got home and inspected the spud myself and realized that I could have the whole thing fixed in under 2 minutes, I realized at what complete BS this is. $45 normally for a tech to come out, now $22.50 to replace an $11 part, that I can do myself, but shouldn't have to since his tech broke it in the first place?!?!?

I understand people need to make money. I don't expect a free ride in life. However, when an employee of a company breaks something and then you don't take responsibility for it is deplorable. The Twin cities need to know that H2C does not take responsibility for their employees actions, and because of that...avoid this place like the plague. I hope it was worth the $11 Pete, because reviews speak louder than actions.

In early 2018 we called H2C in order to get a quote on a new furnace after having issues with our old unit. We were fortunate to find out that H2C technician checked the warranty. I did not even think of that with a 18 year old furnace. Thankfully our old furnace was under warranty and they replace replaced the heat exchange. Granted there was some luck in this, but this is the only company that checked the warranty. The three other companies we called didn't even think about checking the warranty and wanted to sell us a $10,000 furnace. In short this company is worth calling.

Pete responded immediately to our call about a leaking water heater. We had a quote from another company and told by them that we also had a bad water softener.

When Pete came, he recommended a heater and also inspected the softener. The quote was fair and he told us that the softener was working perfectly.

The work was completed in just a few days. Pete was very professional, considerate and neat.

We would recommend Pete and H2C for any HVAC or plumbing needs that you have.
