Abel Heating and Cooling

From the first phone call I made to Abel I could tell I wanted them to replace my furnace. I believe I spoke to the owner and could tell he knew what he was talking about. He gave me options and opinions on what I probably should do but more importantly told me what I probably didn't need. No upselling or any sales tactics of any kind. Pricing is more than reasonable too and beat my other quotes. Installers were great too, respectful of my run down house that now has heat again. 10/10, will be recommending and using these guys again.

We were in Florida when our furnace stopped heating. It was 42 degrees in our house and 9 below outside. I had never used Abel before but my wife saw a very positive comment on Next Door so we called them about 4 p.m. on a Friday. They were at our house within a half hour and got the furnace working. Without their quick response our water pipes would have froze up and burst. I'll never go anywhere else when I need a repair or a new furnace.

Abel did a high quality installation of my new furnace and central A/C in a very reasonable amount of time, and they were able to come a day earlier than scheduled. The system has worked perfectly through two months of a hot summer. The office staff has always been helpful and responsive. It pays to work with a local contractor familiar with local inspection, which was passed without issue.

Because of the repair needed I had two different technicians throughout the process and they were both equally impressive going above and beyond. I've used abel my whole time as a home owner. Had them replace my entire HVAC and AC. I've had some mechanical problems but won't blame them for that. What I will say though is who installs a new HVAC, cuts holes in the side of the house, and doesn't seal them against mice in Minnesota in the middle of a fielded area. Couldn't figure out why mice were getting in since when I moved in I sealed everything I could find, then I saw the gaps from the HVAC pipes they ran. I'll probably be switching companies now. All it would have taken was a couple squirts from a 6$ can of expanding foam.

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with Abel. Fast, courteous, honest, and fair pricing. I had them come out to my home to repair my failing outside AC condenser unit. The technician found the problem right away (burned out fan motor), and quoted me a replacement price on the spot. He ordered the part overnight and repaired it the next day. My AC now has never worked better kicking out ultra-cold 55 degree air through the vents. I will be using Abel again if needed for sure…

Awesome Company. Called on a Saturday the day after Christmas when our furnace went out. They got the part and repaired it the same day! Excellent company with professional and respectful technicians (removed shoes and wore a mask). Don't hesitate to trust them with your homes mechanical systems.
