Abel Heating and Cooling

Several years ago, we knew that our furnace was working but it was at the end of its life and had not been heating efficiently, particularly in an addition area of our home. Fred came out, assessed our situation and made some recommendations and gave us options. He replaced our furnace with a new one which is much more efficient and heats our whole home much better. He and his technicians were very helpful and courteous. Sometime later our thermostat apparently went bad. They were out within hours to replace it. I highly recommend Abel Heating and Air Conditioning.

I received a check to cover the service call, I was surprised because I was told before the checks in the mail so to speak and nothing was received, but this time I did receive a check.

My son and I installed a humidifier on my furnace and we had some issues getting it to work. I called the local dealer and found that he had retired and had sold the busines to Abel. I had them come out and found out my thermostat has the ability to control it, to make a long story short, he removed all of our wiring and changed it to the thermostat. I thought he did a good job and knew what he was doing. However when the air conditioning season started mine would not work. I called a different service that had quoted a new unit for me, he found that Abel had disconnected two wires going to my A/C and that was the reason it it not work. We went back and forth with several emails. They agreed to pay me back for the service call. After several weeks and no credit back on my card and no check received, I sent another email. No answer and no payment. I guess he lied to me about paying me back.

The technician was fairly experienced so I felt very confident that he gave my furnace a good work through.

Furnace wasn't heating on a cold day. Immediate response from Abel. Got it going, and they called the next day to make sure all was good. Actually I reported that the thermostat wasn't regulating the heat, and the same technician (I wish I could remember his name because he was very informative and patient) came to my home on his way into work. Great service. They are the BEST of all the REST!!!!

Our furnace went out on the first cold day of the year. I called Abel Heating and Cooling in the morning and they sent out a tech immediately. The service was great, quick and the tech was very service orientated. Would highly recommend their service!

My husband called and set up a time to get our hanging garage heater looked at on a Friday, the tech called and it was late said he couldn't make it and said would 1st thing Monday work. My husband said yes and he never showed or called. The tech should have called to confirm the Monday appointment. Very disappointing.

The tech was very knowledgeable, quickly diagnosed the issue with my furnace and got it running again. I will definitely be calling Abel again for seasonal tuneups and repair services.
