Repair guys do a good job but who ever schedules the work needs more training and when the work is done they refuse to give an itemized repair bill. I have no idea what I actually paid for, parts, labor, travel time, or what ever. I know I had to pay $400. I do not know of any business that does not itemize the repair bill.
We provide homes and services for individuals and children with disabilities throughout Northern and Central MN. Yesterday Aire Serv was scheduled to perform routine maintenance at several of our homes. We wanted to be certain that our HVAC units were in working order. When the technician arrived our staff requested that the Tech please wear a mask inside of our homes and left before completing any of our furnace checks. The Technician flatly refused to wear a mask. If you read Aire Serv websites, they all state something similar to this.... But clearly the Cloquet Shop does not care about the Health and Safety of any of it's customers!
We require all technicians to be equipped with the following personal protective equipment (PPE) when entering homes or businesses for peace of mind and prevention: Masks Gloves Shoe covers Equipment disinfectant Hand Sanitizer
We encourage our customers to let us know in advance of an appointment if there are any concerns or they would like us to take special precautions. We will continue to closely monitor the situation surrounding the Covid-19 coronavirus and act accordingly.
This last paragraph was taken directly off of the Cloquet Aire Serv's Website. Do not believe that they will comply with any safety precautions. They will flatly refuse. We were told by the owner that they would rather lose business before they would put on a mask. We serve individuals that are vulnerable and have compromised health conditions. It is important that we protect those that we serve.
Jason and the crew came up with an innovative heating system for our home that performed excellent . Mike and the rest of the install team were pros and made the switch flawless . These are the people you want for HVAC service .
On 1/12/18 Technician checked furnace I was told I would get a follow up call giving me a parts service price for repair, never heard a word. I received my CC bill this am called in complaining 2/2/18 was told tech. Would be asked to call back. So we will see, tech. Did a complete check on furnace and was nice though. I however feel $159 service call with promise to come off final bill is high when not called back.
