We needed our propane fireplace checked over to use during this upcoming cold week- TruTemp was quick to respond to our call and came out in a timely manner. Personable and professional, our fireplace is ready to help heat through the winter! We plan to contact TruTemp again when we switch from fuel oil to natural gas later in the year.

Our furnace was not working properly so we called and he could come the next day. We took that appt but the furnace went out at about 11:00 p.m. during the -20 degree weather with a wind chill of -40. He came out at 12:00 a.m. and even worked outside to free up oil line. He communicated everything he was doing and found. Came back next day to service furnace completely. Awesome team! Only company that would come out immediately. Gave us great suggestions also.

When our Boiler went out in the middle of winter, we called this company to get us a quote on a replacement. I had another boiler installed before they even got the quote back to me and they changed me $300 for coming out. They tried to charge me an extra $150 because they dropped off their janky heaters to us, that didn't work for nothing and then they left them here for weeks. I should charged them for storage. None of these charges were agreed upon prior.

If there was a 100 star rating, I would give TruTemp 110 stars, because Dave (owner of TruTemp) gave us 110% service in honesty, knowledge and effort. I had scheduled an inspection and cleaning with another company for my 30+ year old furnace that was working fine but I had noticed the heat bill began climbing the last couple of winters. In less than 10 minutes of arrival, the techs from this other company stated I needed to replace the whole furnace and said it was not worth cleaning and left. I asked on Facebook if there was anyone people would recommend for furnace replacement. I looked up and called the three most recommended companies. I will not say the names of the other two companies nor my experiences with them since at the end of the day, TruTemp is the only company I would and will recommend to everyone and anyone that has HVAC needs or questions. When Dave showed up to give an estimate on installation of a new furnace, I was already resigned to the fact that my 30+ year old furnace was a “goner” and that I should be grateful that it did not go out in the middle of winter. To my shock Dave offered to give the furnace a thorough cleaning and inspection before deciding on what model of a new furnace I wanted an estimate on. After the cleaning not only could I feel the difference in the heat blowing out of the registers but I also saw the efficiency of the furnace continue to climb during the inspection at the end. Not only did TruTemp save me $4,000+ on a new furnace but I fully expect my heat bill to return to what it was before these last couple of winters. I can not recommend TruTemp enough. Dave’s goal is to build a company that customers will trust and recommend. After my experiences with the top three recommended companies, I can say Dave is well on his way to achieving his goal.

Dave was incredibly knowledgeable and easy to work with. He helped us convert to natural gas and answered a million questions. We would definitely recommend Dave to our friends and family and plan to use TruTemp for any future needs!
