They have a really hard time fixing their own install mistakes. Our new AC has a leak from the refrigerant and instead of fixing it they just recharged it because they didn't have enough time that day. They scheduled for the following week to have more time to track down the leak.
At the scheduled appointment time they didn't even bother to show up. Calling them they are blaming everyone but themselves and said they would be there tomorrow and he claimed it may not be a leak and maybe the installer which was them didn't charge the AC, either way not good.
Great experience with Pat Walters & Sons. Our furnace went out during the night and called and left message with the company in the early morning before they were open. They called back and had someone out within a couple of hours and fixed the problem in 15 minutes. I will call on these guys again in the event I need repair or a new system.
Purchased a Lennox Elite A/C and Furnace unit through Costco. PW and Sons did a great, efficient job installing!
3 weeks after using the icomofort thermostat I realized the zoning was not using the programs I entered, and after reviewing the manual and online videos, I could not figure it out!
The next day they sent someone out who walked me through the process (and confirmed the manual didn't have this procedure noted).
I am so very pleased with their service (we live in Dexter, they are located in Ypsilanti). Also happy to have the rebates ! (DTE, costco cash and costco visa). Thank you!

I worked with Pat Walters & Sons through Costco and am so far extremely satisfied! From the pleasant personality of Brian, who provided the quote to the installers, I couldn't be more pleased.
My AC died and through the entire process they were extremely informative, kind and patient. I had to ask them to come back to fix a minor issue (old parts that weren't part of their original work) and they were quick to schedule me and very timely and always professional. I appreciate having them as a resource!

Tech (Greg) was at house by 1:05, had problem diagnosed and fixed by 1:30. Service was not only fast and friendly but very reasonably priced. Will continue to call on Pat Walters & Sons for all our HVAC needs.
The owners of my building spent a lot of money last year with Pat Walters & Sons having a new A/C unit installed at the building I rent from, and then again this year to have it relocated due to a spacing issue ... a lot of collective money. Now the A/C unit has gone down. Pat Walters and Sons said they could not get here for more than a week to look at it, with one reason being that they lost a lot of staff. I find it offensive that after making that big of an invest with them that they can't service an obviously still new system in any kind of reasonable time. And now to have staffing problems ... a BIG RED FLAG here ... you may want to take any future business elsewhere. Prompt service has never seemed to be their strength from all I have observed even during the installation ... seeming a strict 9 to 5 type of operation.
I rent a house in Ann Arbor and my landlord lives out of the country. Person on phone was friendly but refused to come to my house to fix my furnace in the winter unless landlord called them directly. I had no problem getting service from Koch and White.
