I would definitely recommend Pat Walters & Sons. I called them at 8am because our 15 year old furnace wasn't working properly, and the tech arrived in just a few hours and within the stated appointment window. Lorne was very professional, knowledgeable, worked quickly, and patiently and honestly answered all my questions. He identified the problem(s) immediately, and we had heat again in no time. The price was very reasonable, and at no time was there any attempt to sell me on any unnecessary services, a new furnace, etc. I will definitely rely on Pat Walters & Sons for all my Heat/AC needs in the future.

Pat Walters & Sons helped me 4 times in the past 5 years, and, after dealing with other HVAC technicians, I would say their service quality is excellent, like good doctors who can diagnose and treat the patient accurately and quickly, and their price is really reasonable. Below is my most recent experience with Pat Walters.

I had a really bad experience of replacing my furnace draft inducer motor done by a different HVAC contractor last December (I contacted Pat Walters first, but they did not have this item in stock, and I needed the repair to be done in a rush to prevent burst pipes.). After this replacement, various issues happened, like short cycling, pressure switch was full of water, blowing cold air, and the furnace sounded really loud compared to it was before. Thus, I contacted Pat Walters for help. Their technician showed up on time, pointed out and fixed the issues. When I asked for the rough price for a new furnace, the technician told me that they had a sales department for the quotes so that the technicians can focus on repairing for the clients, not selling them new furnaces (to avoid a conflict of interest).

In a nut shell, their work is solid; price is reasonable. They handle things professionally and don't try to sell new furnaces to clients. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who need HVAC service.

Installed a new Furnace, AC and humidifier. Great price and we reviewed 5 local bids. The salesman and the installation technicians were incredibly understandable with my little kids running around. So far the unit is running great. I would highly recommend them and if you purchase through Costco the savings are great!

We've now had our second visit from Pat Walters & Sons (first was to install furnace and air conditioning unit, second was for a yearly cleaning/inspection) and are still very impressed. Their employees are kind, pleasant and helpful. The service is thorough and quick. Today's technician humored my 3 year old and let him "help" inspect the furnace. I love this family owned company!

Purchased through the Costco program. Had a little discrepancy with the scope of work, but they took care of all the issues prior to final inspections. Installers were great and the office worked with our schedules to get everything installed and squared away. Rebate processing was fast, and so far the Lennox unit has been great. I also really liked that they were the only bid who installed the neat low-profile exhaust outlet cover. Touches like that go a long way on our smaller ranch style home.

I cannot say anything about their installations because I could not go past the sales guy, John Dennis. I was trying to get a replacement quote for AC and the furnace through Costco. Set up an appointment and John was late by 30 minutes. I called and left him a VM, then called the office, at which point of time they told me that my appointment was set for the next Monday. Fortunately John called me back and came in in another 20 minutes. I explained to him that I wanted higher efficiency HVAC units, preferably with features to reduce humidity without lowering the temperature too much.
I waited for the quote and nothing came. Called them 2 days after the appointment and he finally emailed me the quote that he apparently wrote the day before. The quote contained 2 low efficiency ACs and one high efficiency furnace. No explanations on how he arrived to quoting those units. The base prices were outrageous: you can order an online report for the comparative price for your zip code, so for the units that he quoted he wanted 53% more than the fair price. Even after all Costco incentives his price was still $3k more than the fir price (fair is 40% overhead on the cost of units+installation). His furnace quote alone was as much as the fair price for both the furnace and the AC. On my emailed request for clarification he has not responded at all. Not sure where he took the "salesperson 101", but he should have failed. I asked for the quotes from 3 additional local contractors and can only praise them for their professional conduct and immediate responses to questions.

Costco should really reconsider even listing them as their contractor until they can fix their sales force behavior. No matter how much cash back or gift cards Costco offers, this experience is not worth it.

Pat Walters & Sons installed the Lennox heating system for our house on 5/17/2021. They did an excellent good job and very responsible on the floowe up works. I like their excellent work.

Pat Walters & Sons is the area COSTCO preferred installer and they live up to that high standard. The service is personal and top notch. You will notice the family pride in their work. I highly recommend them if you ever needs heating/AC work.

Our AC went down in the middle of the current heat wave. Although they are getting a high volume of calls they were able to get out same day and quickly bring our 19 year old unit back to life. The technician was professional and took the time to educate me on maintenance activities I should be performing regularly. The price of the service call was about half of what I was expecting.
