Williams Refrigeration AC & Heating

Kieran Came out and diagnosed my system which was mis- diagnosed by Mastercraft heating and cooling and he fixed the circuit breaker for $200. Mastercraft wanted $10,000 for an all new system. I’m very thankful that Williams did not try to gouge me and simply diagnosed correctly and fixed the problem which is now allowing the AC system to work perfectly again thank you Williams!

My father always stated you get what you pay for. On Sunday evening my boiler went out. I called first thing Monday morning (0600 hrs). Williams called me back as soon as they opened. The tech was out within the hour. The tech identified the part that needed to be replaced and it did take a couple of days to get the part, but he was able to keep the boiler running while the part was being mailed.

The boiler I am referring to was installed by Williams nearly 40 years ago and this is the first time I needed a major part replaced. The techs were professional and polite. You can go to other companies, but when the stuff hits the fan, it's nice to know you can pick up the phone and they will be there.

Williams Refrigeration is a great company to deal with. Friendly office staff; prompt, efficient and reliable installers and repairmen. When they make an appointment with you, they show up and will do whatever it takes to get the job done. I've used them for work and personal use and will continue to do so in the future!

I have dealt with Williams for over 30 years , new furnace , new air conditioner, service calls, maintenance up grades. They have always been right on time , professional in every aspect! Good to have someone you can put your faith in when it comes to these things about your home!!

We have used Williams Refrigeration many times.
The most recent job we used them for was to install a furnace and air conditioning unit.
I was extremely appreciative that when I needed the furnace replaced immediately at one of my properties, it happened to be the coldest day of the winter season-Williams Refrigeration got out there pronto, got the furnace installed, heating up the house…
Per my request, Williams waited to install A/C unit in the spring.
Also, Williams has installed other furnace and air conditioning equipment for me and, frankly, they have always done a superior job-always clean up after a job well done, prompt, timely, courteous and professional…including office staff girls and technicians

Most important, this company is a business that follows State safety regulations. They are exactly what I was was needing: Straight to the point Professional service. It was apparent from the first 30 seconds that the service man was knowledgable and proficient at his job. Let me elaborate on my services received by Williams Co. Mike repaired my furnace in working order in less than 10 minutes and He could have been out the door. If I had a better condition furnace, I would have had my heat working with no more than spending a "frankin." However, considering the condition of my 15yr (or older) furnace in rough shape, Mike informed me of the safety hazards of its current condition. He explained the pilot light was'nt being controlled properly and the furnace was basically a ticking time bomb. He was able to repair the furnace and ensure it's safety for my family. The costs were not in one way pricey, as mentioned in a prior comment.

Replaced old furnace with a new one. Was expecting a tramatic experience with hauling out the old one from the basement and bringing in the new one, and potential wall nicks due to the new (and long) piping to install. The complete opposite experience! They arrived earlier than schedules (OK by me!) and finished on time as scheduled. The crew was professional, efficient, with attention to details and cleanliness while working and final price was as quoted!

If you cherish you life do not use this company. Office staff is rude and they are way over priced. Tech making the called added an additional 1/2 hour to his actual time. They replaced the gas valve on the hot water tank and when I came home 1.5 hours after they completed the job I walked into a very strong smell of gas. When I called the office the girl that answered the phone said why are you calling us? Really the wrong answer she should have sent someone back to our house but I had to call the gas company to come out and red tag the water tank for them to return the following day. Will never use them again.

LONG REVIEW: I had a service call with another company because my furnace would not operate when set on “Automatic” on the thermostat. It did run when the thermostat was set on the “Fan on” position with heat blowing out. The service guy stated it was a bad heat exchanger and I would need to replace the furnace. Didn’t really run any diagnostics or fix anything.
I had quotes from several companies including Williams Refrigeration & Heating to replace the furnace. Jim Williams (one of the owners) came out and provided me a quote for the replacement. He also opened and reviewed various things on my furnace including the heat exchanger. He stated that it appears to look fine but would need to run a diagnostic test to be sure. Jim was very professional and very knowledgeable providing me great information.
I was not confident with the work of the previous service company so Jim had one of his staff (Aamer) come out for a service call on Friday, January 27, 2017. Aamer did a fantastic job. He ran a full diagnostic and determined immediately that it was a damaged control board. He pulled it out and showed me where the issue was on the board (didn’t expect that and very much appreciated it!). He then proceeded to clean out the burners due to issues with two burners not coming on. He also performed a combustion analysis and determined that the air quality was good and the heat exchanger was probably not damaged. We tested the unit and my furnace is again working properly. Aamer definitely knew what he was doing. If I ever need a service call for my furnace, I will call Williams Refrigeration & Heating and request that Aamer perform the service. If I need a new furnace, I will again call Williams Refrigeration & Heating and have Jim come out for a full quote. Great company that provided exemplary service. Honest, professional and technically proficient. One happy home owner!

I called the office to ask how I could remove my Lennox thermostat from the wall to paint around it. The female who answered the phone said they could not give out that type of information over the phone. I asked if someone could call me back...NO. THIS IS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Williams installed the entire HVAC system seven years ago, and this is the type of support I receive? She did say that a service technician could come to my home to take the thermostat off the wall for me; at a cost of course. How absolutely ridiculous!

I am now a former customer. I will be looking for a new company to service my needs in the future.
