Our AC and furnace were 25 years old and struggling to keep up with the summer heat, so I called American Home Services to come out and check them out and potentially quote us on a new system. John was out the next morning and after checking the system out determined there was a blockage that would necessitate replacing our AC and recommended replacing our furnace at the same time.

The price he quoted was great so we told him go ahead and he and Ryan were here the following Tuesday and Wednesday and got both units installed. Everything is working great, quiet, and efficient and I have absolutely no complains. John and Ryan were knowledgeable, professional, and courteous through the whole process.

I'd recommend American Home Services to anyone looking for a responsive company for their HVAC installation or repair needs and wanting a company that does good work for a fair price.

We just moved to our area 4 years ago and this is the first time we've needed HVAC service. I chose AHS because of their convenient location and good reviews. It was a pleasure to call and have the phone answered by an actual PERSON rather than a machine. I explained to John that our AC wasn't working and what my husband (a good home handyman) believed the problem to be. John said that he would be out shortly and he arrived within an hour. 45 minutes later, our capacitor had been replaced, the coolant (which was a bit low) had been topped off, and everything was running perfectly. Our charge? $220, which we felt was very reasonable.

Very happy with John's professionalism, service, and pricing. It is a relief to know that we now have someone to call in the future for any of our heating or cooling needs. American Home Services is "our" heating and cooling service provider!

I have relied on American Home Services for my home and investment property plumbing, air and furnace repair and installations. They put in all new plumbing for an investment property I purchased and replaced the furnace. Johnny installed my current home furnace and air conditioning units.. I had a supply line fail in my upstairs bathroom and appreciated Johnny's quick service to repair it. Their prices are good and they are always prompt.

Johnny Walker retired awhile back and I was thinking that all good things must come to an end. But I was pleased to learn that his son, John, is continuing his father's tradition of top-notch service at very affordable prices. Within 3 hours of my call to set up an appointment, John had my AC system running like new. No up-sells, no sneaky tricks; just fast and friendly diagnosis and remedy at a reasonable cost. Service Call: $100. 1 can of AC sealant: $100. 7 oz of R-22: $40. Grand total $240. It doesn't get much better than that.

Repaired my furnace for less money than the parts cost priced on line. John came within a half hour of the time I called him (7 AM) and we had heat within 2 1/2 hours. He is now our furnace repairman!

We had them out to replace thermostat. Great service, reasonable price, came out quickly. I would highly recommend them and would use them again.
