American Home Services sold me my Rainsoft Water Softener and helped me finance it. I later found out it is roughly 2-5x the cost of comparable systems sold at Home Depot. They are providing me lifetime warranty and moving services for my water softener, but a yearly maintenance visit appears to be required to maintain the warranty and I do not believe this was mentioned during the sale. These yearly visits are $100+ and an additional $200+ to replace the filter canister every 2 years. I wish I had done more research and asked more questions prior to buying.

We were extremely pleased with the services from AHS. They were very professional and courteous from demo to install. We didn’t have an outlet near where we wanted the unit placed and they scheduled an electrician to come out and install one right where we needed it. The performance of the system is really good. We are using so much less soap. We don’t get spots on our dishes or showers anymore. My wife LOVES the way her skin feels after her shower. Our 7 month old baby feels like velvet after bath time. Everything about our water has improved from brushing your teeth to making coffee to cooking. We’re very pleased with our Rain Soft system and AHS.

This gentleman patiently took the time to answer any questions and concerns I had to my understanding. In fact, this was the first time I truly understood how to maintain my system after all the years I've had it and other reps that had come to service it. Called them to look at my water softener they installed. Never showed up then called and reschedule for another day which was 2 hrs late.
Did not fix it and said I’ll have to reschedule for another day and charged me over $200 tech was very nice but did not wear a mask and seamed to have a cold. And drove a unmarked vehicle wasn’t sure if he worked for them since his shirt said a different company name on it..

Our water softener consultation was informative and entertaining. Installation was very professional and expedient. Material quality is top notch. Owner maintenance was thoroughly explained. During and after installation AHS made sure we knew that support would be available to us.

I have purchased two water softeners from them and my daughter purchased one on my recommendation. She has not had a good experience with them. I had good experience with them until this past week.
My sister-in-law had stored a lot of items on a table four years ago and came by to go through them only to find they were wet. I called 4ECO
and they sent out a plumber that afternoon. He quickly located a pinhole leak in the pipe from the water softener discharge line. He declined to charge me thinking AHS should bear the expense of any repair.
I called AHS and explained what we had discovered and it was clear the girl didn't believe me. She said she would have Robert, the general manager call me back. He never did so I called again the next day. I still couldn't speak with him and the girl said I would be charged a fee if they came out. Again it was clear she didn't believe me. I ended up having 4ECO do the repair and still have the portion of the pipe with the pinhole opening.

We had American Home Services install a water softer system. I wasn't sure I really wanted one, but I was so impressed with their knowledge and customer service. We are so pleased with the taste and feel of our water now. AHS has been great with follow up and service. I highly recommend their product and company.

The serviceman was kind and helpful. This was an annual service for a water filter. However, he said he had to check the operation of the soft water system. That took him 15 minutes. We were charged $129 for that check up, but that seems way too much.

Installation team was great -very experienced and respectful. Had some sales miscommunication about the system required to meet my goals but mgmt resolved the issues to ensure the system met my needs.. Definitely would use again!

I paid $155.06 for service and my filters to be changed and I don't have anything to show for it. It started on 6/27/2015 when the service guy came to my house and didn't know what he was going and pulled my unit apart and couldn't finish and had to reschedule another appointment. The 2nd appointment was on 8/13/2015 and that service guy came out and stated everything was fixed and the water should be going within an hour. I got home that night and nothing was working. I was frustrated and just wanted my money back, but I was talked into making another appointment. On 8/18/2015 once again the guy came out and claimed everything was fixed and working and I would have water within an hour. I got home that night and still no water. I've tried contacting Crystal and Robert several times now and I've got nothing but the run around. They never return any phone calls and are refusing to just refund my money. They are steady trying to talk me into making another appointment, but haven't attempted to offer me any compensation for wasting my time and having to go back and forth to my house because of their mistake. They have received full payment from me and I don't have anything to show for it. They steady claim they want to make me happy but haven’t done anything to make me happy. This has been nothing but a headache!
