I placed a call for service Kevin D. Came out very quickly for Garbage disposal service. He was very knowledgeable, personable and explained everything thoroughly. He replaced my disposal in a timely manner and instructed me how to use it. I have used this company many times in the past and I always get exceptional service. I will recommend them to all of my friends and family. I look forward to calling on them for help in the future. Thank you so much Kevin D.

Terrible experience with Home Service Corporation. I have a HSA Home warranty and they sent them out due to my furnace being out. I had to wait till the next day. In that time my furnace came back on, the service person got there and said he did not see a issue with it and he said he tuned it up. Two hours later my furnace is out. Next day call back and they tell me they can not get a person back out that day so I told them I was going to call a local person because I need heat. They say don't do that we will have a person out. He comes back and tells me I have a broken heat exchanger and I need a new furnace. So on Monday when he was over he did not obviously check over the furnace or he would have found out I had a broken heat exchanger. So in reality, this service person put my family and I in jeopardy and could have exposed us to carbon monoxide. So after this issue he tells me we have to wait on a furnace from the warrnety place and I am like I can not do any longe for heat, I have one year old son and its been 3 days already. He says well you can upgrade and get a furnace we have in stock. I said sure, he says let me go to my truck and get you numbers. I wait 20 minutes and look out the window and he is gone. I do not get numbers for 24 hours, and when I do the numbers are outgageous,2,000 more than the local HVAC company. They tried telling me i had to upgrade all kinds of things to get to code and the company i hired said that was false. I ended up paying out of pocket to get make sure my son had heat and I had my new set up installed before I even got numbers back from Home service. When the new contractor came over he said as soon as he walked down my stairs he smelt I had a broke heat exchanger, so I don't understand how HOME Service could not detect that. Sorry for the long post and rant. I would not recommend them to anybody.

Okay, so I dont usually write reviews, but I really felt the need to write this review after being serviced twice by a one of the service technicians named Murad. Murad initially came to our home after our heat broke down and our DTE protection plan connected us with Home Service Corporation. Murad was so polite and so personable and also respected Covid rules and kept his mask on the hole time. Murad not only fixed our heat that day, but he also point out that our heating and cooling room had poor ventilation. My husband and I are expecting a baby and our living space is our finished basement. Murad recommended fresh air vents be put in to keep the air we were breathing clean. He encouraged me to research the purpose of a fresh air vent and also let us know Home Service Corporation provided the service. After we decided we needed them installed, Home Service Corporation was able to cater to our busy work schedule and sent Murad back over. I felt horrible because I made him wait outside my house for 15 minutes while driving home from work and he was still polite. Not only did he install the vents quickly, but he asked me for my vacuum so he could clean up the mess he made!!!!! Does anyone do that anymore haha. I am very happy with the courtesy and care of this service provider!

Kevin Tylutki was fantastic! He came to our house after a request came through American Home Shield. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable and willing to take the time to explain what the issue was. In addition he provided some great home maintenance advice.

Kevin, went above and beyond the call, even went out to get a part that he thought would fix the issue. I was very impressed with Kevin and was very happy with his work ethic. I would recommend Kevin to anyone who needs help.

Even though the guys were running a bit late, it was such a pleasure having them in my house and fix my tub for me. James and Kevin were so nice and worked quickly. They even tolerated my annoying dog and cats. It was a very nice experience all around and I’d be happy to have both of them work on future experiences.

I have some very old wiring in my 80 year old house that was blended with some very poor quality contractor wiring blended together that caused my lights to stay on. I had called several other electricians and none were able to figure out the problem, however Mike Flores from Home Service Corporation figured out the problem and got my lights working again. He was very knowledgeable and professional.

Had to call several times to find out when someone was coming and the time. Told me that they had tried to call prior to setting up appt, which wasn’t true and delayed the resolution of my problem another day.
The plumber was friend and was able to resolve my problem with an upgrade. Very happy with the end results.

Update: the plumber is fantastic and very helpful in resolving my issues completely! Very pleased with the results!

I have used this company twice - both times sent out and recommended through my home protection plan with DTE. Brian and Nick came out this last time. They diagnosed the problem right away. It actually wasn't a plumbing problem but a dishwasher problem. They took the time to show me the problem and malfunctioning part, as well as the correct information to give to the appliance service. Both were very pleasant. I would use them again in the future without hesitation.

My blower to my furance would not turn on. When the technician Anthony arrived. He was able to diagnose I had a bad circuit board. He was able to order it, and lucky enough he came back the same day and installed it! Wow, what service!! I can't thank you enough! Anothony is an asset to Home Services Corporation he is very knowledgeable, polite and works quick! Even tolerated being hissed at by my crazy cat.
I never write reviews but I was so impressed with his knowledge and how quick he got my furance up and running.

Tom Bessette came to our house promptly at the time he had said. He was pleasant, and knowledgeable about our problem, went right to work and finished the job in great time. He cleaned the little mess and then left. We were more than happy with his work ethic and the company, Home Service Corporation was well represented by Tom. We would recommend this company to anyone who needs help.
